The location of this B+B is excellent, just outside the city's ring road, within walking distance of the sights, cafe's, bars etc. That, im afraid, is as good as it got. Entry to the B+B is via a door code as the staff are only present for breakfast, which me and my friends didn't mind, but when i checked out... More

Decent location, comfy bed, good wi-fi. That's the best I can say. Owners aren't around for most of the day - they just text you with your room number and the code for the front door before you arrive, and then you fend for yourself. Talk about unwelcoming! Was also disgusted to find pair of used rubber gloves on floor... More

I telephoned Ivy dene to try and book my parents staying in Norwich. Whilst on the phone I felt like the person at the other end was cross with me just for enquiring!! Very rude!! As you can imagine I ended the call and found somewhere else. If service is that rude in first contact, I wouldn't place bets on... More

Stayed for one night only..it was dark when I entered.. no one around to help. scrambled to my room... which was clean.. the kettle did not work and when called the owner wanted to quickly get off the phone - asking me to pull the wardrobe and go behind it to check the switch!!!! I had booked B and B... More

This was very conveniently located for the city centre. Pluses were nice tea cups and fresh milk for teas and coffees, plenty of hot water. Minuses were the uncomfortable bed and nobody to greet us when we arrived. Breakfast wasn't great. We wouldn't stay here again but it is value for money and could be good for a convenient city... My partner and I stayed stayed at the Ivy Dene for a couple of days, the room was spotless, bed clothes spotless and a very cosy bed. The breakfast was superb and the hosts Sue and David were most friendly. Overall we very much enjoyed our stay and would reccomend this guest house to stay in if ever you want... More

It was certainly good value the night I stayed but that's all. The Off Road parking is where ever you can find a space down a side road and it really wasn't all that clean. Despite the price I wouldn't stay again

Our stay at the Ivy Dene proved to be very comfortable and enjoyable. Dave the landlord made us feel incredibly welcome throughout and was extremely attentive. The rooms were pleasant and clean with comfortable beds and breakfast was very fresh and tasty. Ideal location for Norwich city centre. Parking a little tricky but permits provided so perfectly workable. Would certainly... More
