I stayed here recently for the weekend. It is a real antidote to the Travelodges and Hiltons etc etc. Our room was huge with an airy sitting room - way bigger than I was expecting. Plus a B&O TV. Almost all the city centre pubs and restaurants are within walking distance. Pancakes for breakfast! Superb. So, before you book a... More

Really great to be so close to the centre of town, I had a quite room, on suite was rather small but ok and lots of nice touch's like cake in the afternoon left in the room. Great place to stay and see the sites of Norwich.

Using bed and breakfast or hotel accommodation every week of the year, I can quite simply say this is the best you'll get for city centre peace and quiet, impeccable decor in every room and excellent breakfasts that are cooked to your individual tastes.

This is a lovely town house - high ceilings and lovely old cupboards. It has been renovated to a high standard [the shower is fantastic with lovely toiletries]. It is an excellent location in the centre of the old town and in walking distance of all the sights and restaurants. We received an excellent welcome and were shown to our... More

Fresh flowers, a heavenly bed, fresh white fluffy towels each day, home made cakes or biscuits greeting me after work each evening. How could I not fall in love with the place? Add to that gorgeous architecture, eclectic art, and the adorable William's aga-cooked breakfasts and it is a real find. 38 St Giles shares its entrance passageway with a... More

The visit began inauspiciously as the taxi took us to the wrong hotel (No 48 across the road). Fortunately, this was not the first time this has happened and the Reception staff there quickly realised what had happened. Whilst No 48 is big and brassy, 38 St Giles is reserved-almost reticent- in advertising itself, but don't be alarmed, it's a... More

This is an absolutely gorgeous little B&B in the centre of Norwich, just behind the market. 10 mins from the Cathedral, shops on the doorstep. I was in one of the new rooms on the top floor. Very comfortable indeed. The bed was so comfortable it was a struggle to get up. In fact I even checked where the goose... More

We found this B&B browsing through Tripadvisor and got in touch with the owner (William) in January to book for May. He was very helpful and gave us a good price for a night stay. 5 months later we could enjoy his (and his wifes) hospitality. The B&B is spot on in the center of Norwich in walking distance of... I found this hotel quite by chance whilst visiting my son at university in Norwich. Im very glad I did because the experience was quite simply superb. Firstly the house itself is beautiful, classically elegant, well appointed and very comfortable. Secondly, the ambience or feel of the hotel is very good. It is peaceful and relaxing and you certainly get... More

I travel a lot for business and like to stay somewhere I can get a good night's sleep, use free wifi and enjoy home from home comforts (good tv, immaculate bedding and bathroom etc.). Everything here is just as I like things to be - great attention to detail and really well presented. My room was decorated in a truly... More
