Arrived on Friday evening for my cousin's wedding, after a long drive we were greeted by a sorrow face not even a smile from the Manager the other young lady was more professional than the manager and nice and welcoming ,the place was dirt and regretted even paying for the rooms.hated every minute in that room and thinking I brought my... Decided to stay here for the wk end as we were attending a wedding here, very dated, tired and worn! Ran out of glasses and ice cubes on the first night and the staff had trouble working out the food and drinks bills. The highlight of our stay was finding a live newts head in my friends salad and the... More

My partner took me here for my birthday as a gift an although the disco was great the tribute wasn't very good an also the room was the worst I've ever stayed in ! It was dirty ... Splashes of something up the walls, mould around the shower, lamp shade was hangin off , lights near mirror didn't work (needed... More

Stayed two nights 19th &20th July, no sleep for two nights due to very loud music from the function room both nights. Rooms where like a sauna as couldn't open the window due to the noise.complained to reception that at no point on booking/ checking in was told there would be loud functions on. Was told they should have put... More

On approach the hotel resembles a crematorium, although not aesthetically pleasing the hotel is built for purpose and has a multitude of non descript rooms along non descript corridors, its functional and suited for people staying for business purposes in the area, dont consider using it for a romantic getaway! I expected to meet Noddy Holder at reception ...it just feels soooo 70's!... More

I had stayed at this hotel two years ago and although the fittings were tired it was clean and reasonably comfortable. I went to book in yesterday and from leaving the car and entering the hotel my heart sank as I saw the condition of the entrance. If the entrance isn't clean then what about the rooms. From there on... More

Some well deserved praise for the staff at this hotel who went above the call of duty to find my cardigan after we left the hotel for a wedding. This was mislaid through my own fault of leaving a white carrier bag among white sheets on the bed. As the weather was so hot this item was not missed until... More

Staying because of a course being held in the building meant it was convenient but travelling the 70miles home was more preferable than listening to the wedding we weren't part of but our room backed on too. When I asked at reception at 10:30pm about a fan as having the window open was just not an option, there were no... More

I've stayed here several times with work and the only fault is that its alittle tired. Great breakfast ,restaurant , swimming pool and fitness suite. rooms are good but need updating. I'd recommend it if you want somewhere quiet to stay , away from the towns.
