Arrived at the hotel/restaurant, yes, it's a hotel with a very big restaurant so expect noise at weekends. I arrived on a Monday evening around 5 and already the restaurant was getting busy, i went to reception but there was no one there, message said to sign in at bar, which when i asked them about a young waitress said... Hotel is actually family restaurant with rooms. Arrived to to told I was on 2nd floor and no lift. Kindly assisted by receptionist. Restaurant very busy with families and very noisy with TV and ubiquitous pop music blaring away. Not very relaxing I'm afraid. Room a bit small but adequate. Bed not the most comfortable and no air con but... More

I was in room 104 and while asleep in the middle of the night someone had left an alarm on so was disturbed at midnight rummaging round the room half asleep trying to knock it off. Then a few hours later 4am to be exact sounded like 3 people above were laughing, talking loudly and banging around seems there is... More

Went to this hungrey horse with family of 4 adults and 4 children, to eat and watch the FA cup final. Had a great time and all the food was great apart from my 8oz rump which was not eatable . Was not asked how the food was and when they cleared the plate was asked why I left so... More

Used this hotel for one night for a work trip. Don't use the satnav with postcode as it takes you to the back of the hotel. I finally saw the BW signs and then as I drove up to the front thought I'd gone wrong. It's a Hungry Horse with BW bedrooms upstairs. The room was ok. Double and single... More

no lifts so phoned asking for ground floor rooms. After reading reviews talking of noise, dirty rooms arrived with some dread as we had to go through a party room to get to the bedrooms but it was excellent service. The rooms were quite, clean and the bedding and towels all lovely and white. The staff throughout our stay without... More

Stayed here for two nights on business recently. My room very small and rather cramped. Very clean with good selection of toiletries, coffee, tea etc. To get to the rooms needed to negotiate the restaurant which in early evenings was not easy as large family tables restricted people with cases etc. Included breakfast was plenty but some of the advertised... The hotel is pretty average although don't expect anybody to be manning the reception when you arrive, just go straight to the bar and ask. (A sign to that affect might stop people waiting there for 10 minutes) The room was pretty out dated and a bit noisy from the pub car park but no noise from the pub itself.... More
