Lovely clean room fantastic value for money Good location great night sleep Would definitely stay there again only thing to moan about was lack of pillows but they had run out as hole was full Stayed on a Saturday night and was surprised to experience a quiet hotel

Overall, was really nice to stay in. The bar/Cafe was expensive, and I didnt see much staff while I was there. However, the bed was comfortable, the room was clean, room service did their job properly and nothing was stolen! Woo!

The beds are the best in the area, the rest is adequate. Does have a cheap feel and give the overpriced, bad tasting breakfast a miss. The eggs taste rehydrated last time could not eat them. The place to go if you need a good bed. The beds are excellent.

I stayed at this hotel for one night on business. On arrival, if you've drove, you'll need to enter your car registration number in to a terminal to ensure your not given a parking ticket. The hotel looks like a typical Travelodge as they always do. I found the room extremely bland looking and the bed seemed to be sagging... More

Second visit to this Travelodge, was not disappointed, fantastic value for money, clean comfy rooms, great location to Shops, MFC and surrounding areas. Jan, Kelly and all the staff are wonderful, friendly and a real credit, can't praise them enough!! Will definitely be returning.

We always stop at this Travelodge when visiting our daughter who is at uni in Middlesbrough. Staff are very helpful and friendly the rooms are always clean and tidy and the beds are very comfortable, this time we had a room at the back of the hotel which we found a lot quieter than the rooms over the main road... Firstly, the staff are extremely friendly and accommodating but that is where the positives end. After check in, because everything about this hotel is towards saving money, I had to walk along a long dark corridor to get to my room. (the PIR lights barely went on as I passed them). The room is sparse like a prison cell or... More

A very welcoming hotel, close to the bus station. Friendly helpful staff, a lift to all floors from the entrance foyer, immaculately clean room and bathroom, comfortable bed and very good food in the cafe/bar.

Simple budget accommodation with comfortable beds and clean well kept bathrooms. I stay here weekly with business and any issues I have had have been efficiently handled with minimum fuss and a smiley member of staff. To be honest it's the staff that make this place worth coming back to. It's in a very convenient location just a shame the... More

The hotel is just a standard travelodge bar cafe hotel. For £42 it's good value with free parking. What made this one stand out were the colleagues. I forgot to get names however nothing was too much trouble and they were very accommodating. I would stay again just for this alone
