I was really wating for the catch as this place is far less expensive than most hotels with more than two stars. There is no catch! Even though I arrived before lunch there was a room ready for me and I could check in straight away. Very nice. The room was clean and bright and reasnalble in size. Coulors where... More

The room we were given was very small, nothing like the spacious looking pictures. We could only just lay our suitcases on the floor between the wall and the bed. The bed was scrunched into a corner, very uncomfortable and not really big enough for two adults. It was also the noisiest place we stayed in, other guests were still... More

My husband and I are middle-aged and stayed for five nights in The Hyde Park Executive Apartments in late April this year. The Apartments are located very close to Bayswater and Queensway underground stations (about two minutes flat walk). The rooms have a microwave, sink and utensils. I don't recommend you use the toaster though because it sets off the... More

In short i would say that the location of the place is great , IT was 3 minutes walk to nearest tube but yes in central London you are never too far from a tube station. Well the room size was very small but it was with all the facilities that one can expect. The heating was fine with a... More

For the money, this place is an excellent find. I had a spacious, spotless, modern room, comfy bed (might have been a bit small for two), and had a nice quiet night. Will certainly return.

Just checked in to these supposedly executive apartments, arrived to find there was a problem with our room and we were promptly escorted by a receptionist to a questionable looking basement ten minutes walk away.... After refusing to stay there we hurriedly marched back to the hotel, where we found a very angry foreign traveler trying to check in with... More

Booked by my daughters to facilitate an anniversary trip to the C helsea Flower Show as a special treat! What we got was a subterranean room with a double bed, a wardrobe, a kitchen area with 2 rings, a fridge, a microwave and a toaster, two stools and just one chair,n probably because there was no room for another one.... Good points: - location, cleanliness, spacious room, good sufficient kitchenette (although pretty useless for short stays) and there was a fan in our basement room, which was a necessity. Bad points: - lots of creepy corridors in the basement...no air con, no privacy due to the inappropriate facing of our windows looking right over to another guest's room, super slow... More

I'll start with the good points: The hotel is located in a quite area within walking distance from the tube and the Hyde Park. The reception staff was very friendly and let us store our luggage before check-in and after check-out because of our bad flight itinerary. The in-room features and amenities were really good and we loved the fully... More

Double rooms are ideal for short break, wood floors pretty modern decor & small kitchen work top with microwave etc, & flat screen 20in tv. Easy to keep clean and fresh. Bayswater has loads of fast food shops and resturants and two tubes with in a couple of hundred yards, we walked fifty yards into Kensington Park to look at... More

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighborhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighborhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
