Amazing hotel. Superb staff. Great food! Would absolutely stay at this hotel again. Right near the Liverpool tube stop which made for a perfect central location to stay for touring the city. The staff went above and beyond to make our visit memorable and comfortable. Brought my daughter in-room dining of sushi and a stuffed bear when they learned she... More

My stay at the Andaz was amazing! The location is great - right next to the train station. The check-in process was the best I've ever experienced. My friend was traveling with me so we were both asked to have a seat and asked what beverage we'd like. The check-in process was completed while we were seated and having drinks.... More

Been a while since I stayed here last but was really impressed with the standard of service. Was checking in by a gentleman called "rush" who could not have been more helpful. Breakfast was excellent as always and check out was simple and efficient!

Nice hotel if a little pricey. Very attentive staff but the brunch from 10am is real disappointment. We should have gone for the earlier breakfast. We had the 'Big Breakfast' the only thing that was big was the gigantic bread roll it was served on. What was the chef thinking off!? We also had a omelette which had Branston pickle... More

Decent room. Nice hotel. Great position. Shame that the guest on the floor above thought it appropriate to march around as if he was practicing for Trooping The Colour. The sounds of his footsteps at stupid o'clock on a Sunday morning were less than ideal.

Stayed overnight in June. The building looks historic from the outside but incredibly modern sleek and fresh once inside. No intimidating check in desk, instead the staff come and greet you and complete your check in using a tablet, no fuss. Even though its directly above Liverpool St Station we didn't hear a sound all the while we were there... More

Excellent modern hotel right in the hustle and bustle of Liverpool street - you would not guess you were so close to the busy station with the peaceful and tranquil atmosphere inside the hotel. Two tips - wine tasting and canapés 6-8 Saturday night is worth doing, Also take you gym kit as it has a well equipped fitness centre... More

Perhaps London provides for an ideal palate for the Hyatt Andaz brand to show its wares. Located in an historical building, probably with restrictions on modifications (if any) are allowed, the Hyatt Andaz has transformed this property with an eclectic interior. Contemporary and comfortable. Very interesting use of signage - a projection on the floor with directions where to go.... More

Having got off the train we dropped in for a late lunch on our way to an evening event. The interior is very modern with wooden flooring and gives a light and airy feel. Very warm welcome and attentive throughout so impressed with the service and same again with the food. We ordered risotto and rib eye steak with mash... More

Staying in City of London

Neighborhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighborhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighborhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
