A gem of a hotel in the heart of london city! Super easy access to the metro and a few minutes by the tube to the main shopping area of london! Hotel has a ton of restaurants to choose from and breakfast was amazing too. The gym at the hotel is one of the best I've seen, though confusing to... More

Very nice large modern room with no flashy decor. Wonderful huge bed. Busy area but no noise at all. Free minibar (except alcohol). Great business hotel. Great escape from the usual crowding of London. Crazy expensive, though. Not an ideal location for tourists, thought is has some good restaurants.

Stayed 1night prior to visiting the Shard. Hotel is round the corner from train and tube station and only a 20min walk to the Shard. Staff were very helpful and the superior double room we booked was excellent value for money. Will definitely stay again she next in London

The Andaz is a Hyatt property, located directly beside the Liverpool Street Station, in a historic Victorian Railway Hotel, dating from 1884. I have stayed there twice now and hope to stay there again in October 2015. Yes, the hotel is a business hotel, but it is so well-situated that it is perfect for me. There was always a great... The staff is reactive and kind but the place is not really welcoming. Gigantic hotel filled with business people (I was one of them). Not bad per se but not worth the price. There are better (and cheaper) places in London that offer better client care.

Good size room, very good beds and linnens, very nice looking, has electrical connextions for Usa, europe and britain as well as usb for loading your equipment. Also is quiet never heard our neighbours. Excellent location...right next to the metro. Many places around there to eat and drink.

Amazing hotel. Superb staff. Great food! Would absolutely stay at this hotel again. Right near the Liverpool tube stop which made for a perfect central location to stay for touring the city. The staff went above and beyond to make our visit memorable and comfortable. Brought my daughter in-room dining of sushi and a stuffed bear when they learned she... More

My stay at the Andaz was amazing! The location is great - right next to the train station. The check-in process was the best I've ever experienced. My friend was traveling with me so we were both asked to have a seat and asked what beverage we'd like. The check-in process was completed while we were seated and having drinks.... More

Been a while since I stayed here last but was really impressed with the standard of service. Was checking in by a gentleman called "rush" who could not have been more helpful. Breakfast was excellent as always and check out was simple and efficient!

Nice hotel if a little pricey. Very attentive staff but the brunch from 10am is real disappointment. We should have gone for the earlier breakfast. We had the 'Big Breakfast' the only thing that was big was the gigantic bread roll it was served on. What was the chef thinking off!? We also had a omelette which had Branston pickle... More

Staying in City of London

Neighborhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighborhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighborhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
