The Andaz is amazing and could not fault the hotel in any way. We arrived at the hotel at around 10pm which is very easily accessed via Liverpool Street Station. We were welcomed and checked in very efficiently. We were on the 6th floor in a King Room and the little extras were lovely especially the free non-alcoholic minibar. The... More

We stayed at the Andaz for a weekend break. I have stayed in London a lot but never in this area. It is a bit disconcerting to have the reception staff wandering around with iPads but check in was slick and problem free. The room was excellent - spacious and airy. Free non-alcoholic mini bar was a great idea. Breakfast... More

We live 5 minutes away by tube but thought we'd treat ourselves to a night away with our 5 month old baby to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Lovely room, great location and modern somewhat hip feel to the place - thoroughly recommend it especially as they seem to do some very good prices at the weekends. Sunday morning breakfast was... We had the most amazing time at this hotel, I had booked 14 rooms for my friends and family to attend my big birthday party. I could not fault the hotel from start to finish, the rooms are very modern and have everything you need, from free wifi to complimentary soft drinks and snacks in the mini bar. The check... More

I'll preface this review by saying it's a great hotel and I really enjoyed my stay, but there are definitely some quirks. The hotel is very central and very convenient to get to most places in London being situated right near Liverpool St station. The decorations are very pleasant and warm and the building is actually a series of old... More

I stayed here at Andaz for a couple of nights when I was visiting London. Originally, this was not the hotel I had booked. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the rooms are as I know how small some London hotel rooms can be. I very much appreciated complimentary non-alcoholic beverages in the room and snacks. It is conveniently... More

On arrival it was obvious that this hotel prides itself on attentive staff and personal service. I needed directions a couple of times and all staff from the front desk to the porter were friendly and happy to help. The bed was very comfortable and the wifi worked great. It's 2 seconds from Liverpool street station but there was no... More

Is in a great location - beside the station and only 10 minutes walk to other tube stations such as Bank. Inside is clean and comfortable. Room has complimentary soft drinks and juices in the fridge. I ate in the Champagne Bar - which serves nice tapas style food, and Eastway where I had a very nice steak and a... More

Was relocated here due to the fire at the Churchill but this didn't disappoint. Minibar was free and the candies in the room was refilled every night. Breakfast was great. Check in area could be better though.

My husband booked this hotel for us as a surprise Christmas present. The location is fab, just outside Liverpool Street station and really easy to find. Upon arrival we were greeted by reception staff and checked in quickly and efficiently. He offered to show us to our room but it wasn't necessary. We were impressed with out room. It had... More

Staying in City of London

Neighborhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighborhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighborhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
