This place is very trendy the staff are all young and a bit to casual for my liking The rooms are large but the bathrooms are small The hotel is close to the railway station But is still a bit far out from central London so it takes about 20 minutes to get here Stayed at far better places in... On June 29, 2015, my two sons and I visited London from Miami. We loved our stay at Andaz. The location is excellent, everything is clean. The staff is extremely polite and nice with kids. I only have praise for the hotel. Now... From my 9 year old Andaz is a perfect hotel. Once we got to our level, there... More

Stayed here for one night over the weekend. Booked through secret escapes do had a good reduction on a Queen Room which was very kindly upgraded upon arrival, a lovely suprise! This grand Victorian hotel is a stones throw from the station, a two minute walk to Spittlefields market and handily places for just about everything else. The decor is... More

The Andaz experience it should be called. Everything was perfect. My parents birthday was coming up so as a joint present I booked then a stay at the hotel. I was in contact with two members of staff via email to organise a spa and special dinner. They blew me away with their professionism and ideas. So polite and arranged... More

Right near my office so super convenient. The hotel staff are unbelievably attentive. Rooms are large by London standards. Modern and great vibe. Quickly upgraded me to an even nicer room when they had to move me due to bathtub overflow above me. + chocolate as I turned down the offer a bottle of wine.

Would rate 4 1/2 stars if possible. Just returned from a July stay at the Andaz. Liverpool Street. My fifth visit to this top quality hotel. Rooms are clean, efficient, and quite comfortable. You are treated as a valued guest from the moment of entry. Special recognition to the room service staff, many I have seen and interacted with over... More

My girlfriend and I treated ourselves to a two night stay at the ANDAZ for our anniversary weekend. We both had a fantastic time and would definitely return for a future stay. The hotel was clean, quiet, unique and exceptionally well done. We had everything explained to us on arrival and there was always some one to help if needed.... More

Stayed one week in July in Andaz with wife and 12 year old son. Everything was perfect from the service and the attention of all the staff in reception/lounge area to the room which was made ready for us, with the extra bed, and everything was up to 5 star standard. Good size room especially for London, high quality of... More

A real treasure, convenient to most things you want to see in central London. Friendly efficient staff, seriously helpful. We didn't eat in the hotel but enjoyed the atmosphere in the George bar...styled on the typical London pub. On the downside they did something unusual ...they charged my card at check in to the tune of £150 for security.....that I... More

Stylish, top notch service, clean and extrodinarily quiet rooms with comfy beds and complimentary soda, juice, water. Great water in the baths, plenty of outlets, pleasant and helpful staff. Tube/rail stop at Liverpool street is right out of the hotel, easy connection to everything. will definitely come again! Also several restaurants, and a well-stocked gym on the lower level, which... Staying in City of London

Neighborhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighborhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighborhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
