As part of a college class, I brought 9 students to London for a week and we stayed at the Celtic. Ms. Marazzi was so accommodating, working with us in advance to make sure we had the right number of rooms as our class numbers shifted. The students loved the hotel. They had no problem with the shared facilities and... More

Stayed here on business and was looking for chearful and cheap accomodation. I found it ! Very clean rooms, good size, small bathroom and washbasin but all in all very good for the price. Enjoyed the breakfast which was home cooked. I will come back again when in London as the location is excellent.

Three of us stayed in a triple room with a washbasin and shared bathroom for 4 nights and it was very nice. Our room was up several flights of stairs (no lift), but the desk clerk was kind enough to show us to our room and carry one of our pieces of luggage. The room was small, but very clean.... More

I have stayed in many b&b's in London and the Celtic hotel was about the same as the rest--nothing fancy, stuffy, ok breakfast, horrible bed and pillows, and clean bathrooms. For the money, I think one can do better, although the location in Bloomsbury is excellent.

I stayed at the Celtic during Easter weekend 2014. Was looking for a different neighborhood experience for this trip that was affordable. My experience with the staff was great...from the first email to help getting my luggage to and from the lobby. I was in a small single with sink on the top floor, the cheapest option. Shared toilet on... More

Quaint little hotel, Room was clean neat and tidy but not much bigger then a shoe box. Lucky we just came off a 24 hour international flight as the double bed was barely more then a single. Managed to sleep ok though. For a double room we only just fit in with our baggage. A toilet and shower in a... More

We stayed at St. Margaret's, the precursor to the Celtic, several times, and this is now our third visit to the Celtic. Stayed 4 nights mid-June and the hotel has undergone some good changes since our last visit a couple years ago. New paint in lots of areas. Spotlessly clean as always, showers and toilets on the landings always clean,... More

The Celtic has been a great home away from home to me. It is located in a prime spot for those who prefer to walk as much as possible and take in London at street level, yet also is convenient to tube, coach and taxi. Rosanna, Daniel, Mira and all the other folks there who help at booking, breakfast and... More

Four of us stayed in a quad room for 3 nights with a private bath then two of us moved to a double room for one night with a private bath and were very pleased with both rooms. The location was perfect for catching the tube or walking to many places. It is located in a quite neighborhood close to... More

This seems to be a new hotel that just opened up. I like staying in this area but with recent development in the neighborhood, the lower priced hotels seem to be disappearing. This one is still nice with a lot of English quaint charm in the decor. All staff were friendly and nice. The hotel is just a few blocks... More
