OK, it is a student accommodation and this is exactly what you get. Slightly sticky shared bathrooms with Victorian plumbing, unknown food smells from communal kitchen, huge breakfast that - if packed - will keep you going all day (most people did have bags for take away). The rooms are functional but I got better for less even in London.... More

One of my favorite accommodations ever. If you're looking for luxury, you obviously need to search elsewhere, but for the price this exceeded all my expectations and hopes. The location is ideal, overlooking Tavistock Square, and really just a street or 2 from both Euston and Euston Square tube stations. Plus, there's a 24-hour Portland's (convenience store) three blocks away... More

As long as you understand and accept its student hostel accommodation you won't be disappointed and it has a lot going for it! Rooms are perfectly adequate, with working heating, opening windows, desk, wardrobe etc - only drawback might be a very poor mattress comfort-wise but it's not purporting to be a Premier Inn. It is in a quieter part... More

If you want 5 star luxury this is not for you. But if you want something clean, functional,a decent breakfast, cheerful helpful staff, a great location and an unbelievable price for London give Passfield Hall a go.

I stayed at Passfield Hall for 3 nights while I was in London for my LSE MSc graduation. It is not luxury accommodation, but it is cleaner, safer, and more convenient in terms of location than hostels in London that offer similar price points. It appears that complaints on Trip Advisor are about the physical building and the staff, but... More

Good location and cheap, room basic but spacious, relatively good breakfast, but no heating in the room, was really freezing. Staff very polite and helpful. It is ok for one night in the town but something has to be done with the heating. It appears like developed student accommodation, reminiscing of the old days

Worst accommodation I've ever stayed in. Rooms were damp and dusty, the staff were also unbelievably rude. I was told 'never to come back again' during breakfast by the awful serving staff, all for taking a croissant alongside my cooked breakfast. Don't worry, I'd already made that decision by myself. I'm a professional adult, I resent being spoken to like... More

Everything is desperately in need of updating . I think the staff needs training to work in the hospitality industry and not just a building with beds . The front desk ,breakfast staff are indifferent or just rude ( Andrea reception ).The cleanliness was appalling. Location and access were good

Simple and clean room with towels provided, strong and free wifi in room. No hairdryer. Clean and many cubicles for toilets and bathroom separately. Wide spread of breakfast but limits to 7 varieties each with free flow of drinks and bread. Hope that the receptionist can be more smiley. Will come back again.

I booked a single room for one night. My room was small, clean and had a washbasin. Showers and loos are shared. Free wifi. You can prepare your own food in the kitchen and there's a TV room I slept well and enjoyed a copious breakfast. All staff I met were helpful If you are on a budget it's a great... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
