I stay at the Grand at Trafalgar Square about twice a month. From the list of some 30+ hotels I can stay in around London this one regularly gets my business. Just off Trafalgar Square and within a couple of minutes walk from Embankment Station it makes an ideal central location for staying either on business as I do or...

My husband booked the hotel and I arrived alone, at about 9.30 am and my room was ready so I was able to dump my case right away. The staff were helpful and sociable. They had supplied a room with an accessible bathroom which was excellently laid out and equipped. The building itself is impressive and brilliantly located to access everything...

I stayed here with my husband and we had a lovely time. The hotel really lives up to its name! The reception is very grand and vintage themed, and the bar area is very cosy and relaxing. The room was comfortable, clean and a good size, we would stay there again.
The location is good, we were close to the...

The Grand is in a very central area for visitors to London. It was a first visit for my husband and I and we chose the hotel based on the reviews left here. We walked pretty much everywhere -- if you're not in any hurry, many of London's must-see tourist sights are walking distance. The room is on the small...

250 Euro a night for uninterested to arrogant staff, a far too warm and very small room without any view (except for a tiny depressing patio), noise of heating starting every couple of minutes just out of the window, keeping guests out of sleep.
Beware : the advertised 6.95 £ breakfast has to be taken from a tiny, poor buffet...

The hotel has been beautifully done over for an older hotel. The rooms are small, but I expect that in London. This particular area of London is expensive and this is probably one of the lower-priced large hotels. The location is terrific...walking distance to many of the most famous tourist attractions in London. We would definitely stay here again.

I chose the Grand Trafalgar for the ideal location -- walking distance from everything I wanted to see in London during a three-day stopover. It's steps from the front door to Trafalgar Square and the National Gallery, National Portrait Gallery, easy walking distance to Parliament and Westminster Abbey in one direction, Covent Garden and the theatre district in another, Bloomsbury,...
