Check in was okay could of been quicker but busy & not much of a waiting area would recomend a bench for tired guests to wait upon arrival. Room smelt of smoke so mentioned at reception & went out sightseeing. on our return reception had moved our luggage to a new room. This rooms was of a same standard, not... More

Came up to see a musical so stayed for one night. Fantastic location to all the major sights, including Charing Cross station which has brilliant links to Oxford Circus, Paddington station, etc! Staff at reception were absolutely fantastic and very helpful- we had come a bit too early and were able to leave our baggage securely before seeing the room.... More

Me and my daughter were travelling to London alone so we wanted a central hotel so that we did not have to use the tubes on a night. This hotel was perfectly positioned and would not hesitate in staying here again. The water stations on the corridors are useful as is the locker room where you can help yourself to... More

Friendly, helpful staffs. Easy check in. BEAUTIFUL LOBBY, LOUNGE, and BAR. Bartender makes to die for drinks! So good! Room is average; no views. Bathroom is average; standard. EXCELLENT location. Close to everything. So convenient!!! Nice stay.

This is a wonderful hotel! It's all about the location...it is within walking distance to many of the major sights. The staff is very professional and courteous, and we absolutely had help with our luggage. Matthew was exceptionally sweet, a real gentleman who insisted on carrying all the luggage my three daughters took for our three week trip- that's a... More

Worst experience in hotel ever. Only stayed there for two nights as it was central to sights and yes had to use the free laundry room( and this was because we were touring around). But if you have to stay in the city centre choose another hotel. The grand is what it is, all front and no substance. Opulence and... More

This hotel is near everything we wanted to do. Museums, theater, river etc. We were able to walk everywhere. Room was very nice. We upgraded to a larger room and it was great. All of the staff was helpful. We enjoyed the bar but not the restaurant so much. Would go back here again next time.

Have stayed here twice now and both times the level of service has been excellent. Large comfortable rooms that are well equipped. The hotel is right on the door step of trafalgar square and a short walk to the west end. Also right by the river. If your looking for a base to explore London then this is the place... More

Check-in not smooth as it was to be all by computer and self-service but it would not work so done by reception. Quick easy checking in would be super. We would go back as location is super. Room clean and like new. Very nice. Breakfast pricy. Only two tea bags in room. TV not easily viewable from bed. Remote well... More

Stayed here over night on the way back from a 3 day Parisian break and on the way home. We took a taxi from Eurostar that was relatively quick and inexpensive. It's location meant we were down the road from the Mall, Big Ben, Trafalgar and the River Thames and Embankment. Charging Cross railway station was at the end of... More
