We were booked into this hotel for an overnight stay after our theatre trip to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. We booked in and at this point the young lady turned to the one next to her and said can I swap these, ? A nod told her she could. We arrived at our room at the far end of... More

Items crucial to my wife's medication was not delivered to the hotel as planned. The hotel staff was very helpful to solve the problem, though. Everything excellent in this fine hotel at a perfect location in central London.

We stayed one night at the Grand Trafalgar Square. The hotel met our needs entirely, good service, helpful staff and clean/comfortable bed. The only thing was that there was a draught through to the dining room from where we sat for breakfast in the morning, exacerbated of course, by the inclement weather. Overall very good.

I have at this hotel on 24th July with my wife and had a meal in bar. It was all in all a very enjoyable experience. The room was comfortable and on the 7th floor quiet. We will definitely return the next time we go to London. All the staff were friendly and helpful but especially the manager in the... More

So, this was clearly once a beautiful old building. I have no idea who did the design but it is so rubbish it almost beggars belief. Honestly, with the bones of a wonderful place it would be so easy to make this hotel incredible. It never ceases to amaze me how bad some hotels get it and this one was... More

Dear Valued Guest, Thank you for your recent visit. We are sorry to hear that our décor does not run to your personal taste, we do provide honest bedroom photographs for all of our booking channels. We have feather pillows available on request, and our in-room standard is for hypoallergenic pillows. It was disappointing to hear that our Gallery Lounge... More

When we checked in, Mathew at reception could not have been more welcoming. We were surprised at the size of our room and hooray, a shower in the bathroom that wasn't in a bath. The room had all of the facilities one would want. Being so close to Trafalgar Square is a real bonus. However it was rather noisy in... More

Although we had a family room, it was very much on the small side and I was informed by the duty manager that it was the largest. Glad we didn’t stay in the smallest! The room was on the inside of the hotel with barely any natural light to speak of, so it was pretty depressing. The bathroom was singularly... More

To start, this is a great hotel. One of the few hotels I've been in Europe where 4 stars mean 4 stars. Ver ample rooms, excellent condition and they even have empty bottles of water next to a water dispenser in your floor so you can take so e to your room. Location wise it is also at the heart... We stayed for 2 nights as part of a theatre break. This hotel has a lovely bar for a cocktail or two, nice looking restaurant and quiet spacious rooms. It is central to so much, I would recommend it happily. I had attended a lunch so walked from Holborn, took about 20 mins, very pleasant stroll. We walked to both... More

Comfortable, quiet and clean. Stayed in room 332, at the back of the hotel. Thoughtful touches like the umbrella, decent coffee, good storage space. I'd definitely stay there again. Recommended, we'll be back

Staying in Westminster

Neighborhood Profile
Westminster
If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just up the road as well. As captivating as the architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are highlights of the area too. St James's Park (arguably London's loveliest), the expansive Green Park, and pedestrian friendly tree lined paths along the river showcase the exquisite manicure provided by English gardeners. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.
