The hotel looks really nice and in a great position, had a great day in London with m partner, staff at the main bar were really rude and a major lack of customer service young Italian girl was rude and miserable to other staff and myself. Waited in the bar area for 15 min to get a drink, so approached... More

I would like to congratulate you on having phenomenal front desk staff. A speical mention must be given to Hugo who went above and beyond the call of duty and was incredibly helpful with our guest from Zimbabwe - Modest Murziringa on Saturday 27th June. His support, professionalism and customer care was second to none! Thank you Hugo!

Dear Kate, Thank you for your recommendation. It was a pleasure to look after Modest during her first visit to London (and we hope the first of many!). I will make sure that Hugo sees your review as we love to thank our staff for their excellent guest service! More

Why do people book places like this for a conference and exhibition venue. They are simply not up to task. Not talking about the food, service or Hotel rooms. These may be fine. But there is no access, parking. Rooms awkward shape to set up in. Worked on a conference here this week. Had a full van load of kit... More

The Grand at Trafalgar is a beautiful hotel at a great central location! I could walk almost anywhere I wanted. The Grand offers lots of amenities as well! I am looking forward to staying there again!

Just ok I'm afraid, it was the usual "hello how are you from reception". I have worked in hospitality for Twenty Years plus and customers love engaging in a lot more conversation, the warmer you are ,your chances of them returning are much higher.

Thank you for staying with us - we are happy you enjoyed our comfortable in-room facilities. Thank you also for sharing your experience with our reception team. We pride ourselves on our warm guest service, so it was disappointing to hear we didn’t meet your expectations this time. Thank you for letting us know and be assured we will use... More

Lovely hotel, lovely staff, great location. So close to the tube. The breakfast was first rate, that room was comfortable and well set out with all you could need. Would definitely stay again. Using this hotel for any of the shows is perfect

In reception a special mention to SUSANA that beyond her duties offers recommendations and speeds up paperwork, the location is the best in london rooms are small but confortable. Restaurant has limited but what is available is good. If price is not your concern, because in not cheap, choose Le Grand

Location-wise perfect. It is just in front of the trafalga square, the picadely circus and Covent Garden is accessible in 5min. If you want to see the musical in the evening, it also a good place to stay. Lobby is beautiful and the room also good. WiFi also very good.

We loved our stay here because of its perfect location. It was central to everything, close to two tube stops, and had a great variety of sights, restaurants, and shops nearby. Staff was fine, and the fill your own water bottles were nice when they were there. Business center was convenient for printing and the Internet service was strong. We... More

Staying in Westminster

Neighborhood Profile
Westminster
If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just up the road as well. As captivating as the architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are highlights of the area too. St James's Park (arguably London's loveliest), the expansive Green Park, and pedestrian friendly tree lined paths along the river showcase the exquisite manicure provided by English gardeners. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.
