This hotel is in an excellent location. The room we booked with the kitchenette was spacious and had a really nice kitchenette. I had read a review that the kitchenette only had a teapot but we had a microwave, stove and refrigerator, it was nice. The hotel provides free filtered water and bottles which was a nice touch. Those were... More

Ive been using this venue on a regular basis for the last 2 years now. The staff are exceptionally friendly, polite and helpful. The rooms and general accommodation are some of the best London has to offer. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel, I cannot see how you would be disappointed in any way

The grand is so central that it is great way to spend your weekend if you have the London theatres and attractions in your mind. Just minutes from Charring Cross underground station, we reached the reception and greated by their friendly and very efficient staff Mr Ishor. The check in process could not be easier, just at the small wonder... More

This hotel is situated in the best location in London, The staff are the most friendly and helpful that I have ever come across in a city centre hotel. Great value for money, perfect for visiting all the sites. Two choices of onsite restaurant and a beautiful bar to relax in.

I took my boyfriend here for a surprise birthday weekend as I was drawn in by how beautiful it looked on the website, the rooms looked great, and the bar and foyer and restaurant looked stunning. I booked us a one room suite with kitchenette which was the best room they had available and cost me £260 for one nights... More

Stayed here for our honeymoon! Great location. Within walking distance to Big Ben, the London Eye, the art museum and right outside a metro stop. Very helpful staff which assisted with helping sign us up for day trips. Also by the London Ghost tour bus stop. Which the ghost tour was entertaining. If your looking for a great location, this... I often travel to London and have never found a hotel of such good value, quality and with such nice personable staff as at The Grand. I enjoy the hotel and staff each visit. I really cant imagine how some guests can have a negative experience when the staff are but helpful and there are a choice of rooms available... More

The location is great, but the rooms are small and very noisy. We lived at the top floor, but felt like we were at street level with police sirens, traffic and other noise making it impossible to sleep... The staff seem to hate their jobs and there is no customer service to be found. In fact, no one even asked... More

I have tried very hard to not write anything negative about this hotel. But after our crazy ordeal with members of staff, the room, the noise, the mess, I feel urged to warn future potential guests. Let's begin with check in: -I had made several requests. One of them was early check-in because we arrived in London at 8 am.... More

Pros- 1. Great location. The best part about the hotel is its location. 20 m from trafalgar square ,5 min walk from leicester Square, 5 min from london Eye..... 2. There is a tesco just round the corner...long lines though. 3. Lots of food options all around , garfunkles right next door. Cons- Room sizes are small . I had... More

Staying in Westminster

Neighborhood Profile
Westminster
If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just up the road as well. As captivating as the architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are highlights of the area too. St James's Park (arguably London's loveliest), the expansive Green Park, and pedestrian friendly tree lined paths along the river showcase the exquisite manicure provided by English gardeners. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.
