The Chester Hotel. I stayed here well at least I tried too, physically my body was in room number 23, but mentally I was in a Jail in Thailand because that would have been better than “The Chester Hotel” I paid £99 for a double room and that was on sale from £150 down to £99, which in reality it... I was staying just for a night with a couple of friends in room 21. The bed was comfortable. Overall was clean. The size of the room was for max 2 persons not more and it was very warm. Instead having 2 double beds they could use the space to make bigger the bathroom. The bathroom sliding door wasn't professionally... More

Has an excellent location and thats what you are paying for. The room was clean and there was a large TV on the wall which was good. My complaint was that its too small, im an average size but no large person would be able to walk through the corridor or staircase. The bathroom was small and again no large... More

I was in this hotel last week, and I like so much because the location is perfect, it is close to victoria coach station and also to the principal atraction in london, the bedroom is small but if you want to find something central, clean, with private toilet and shower and with goodprice, this is the hotel that you need, the... If you are a light sleeper, dun stay here. Very bad soundproof (Room 8). Location at basement n constant footstep from the ceiling. Can heard the guests' noise staying in the unit above mine. Noise like up n down the staircase n walking around the room. If you are an average size Caucasian man, dun stay here. The shower is... More

Just got back from a 2 night stay at the Chester Hotel and had a great time. Room had recently been decorated and was clean with all good facilities. Bathroom was small but all good. Location was excellent and walking distance to Buckingham Palace and other main tourist attractions. A lovely quiet street with a supermarket just around the corner.... More

I should have stayed longer. If I'm going to come back some day - this hotel will be strongly considered as a place to visit again. Little gem hidden in the Westminster. Little price for atmospheric room. Super kind staff at reception desk. I have been in this hotel in 2006, changed a lot for better. Well done Management!!!

Arrived and was given card to room 16 in the basement. Hazard tape everywhere. Get into the room to find a mans suitcase and clothes in my room! The bed was barely a single size, there was a tv, bin, fridge and very basic tea/coffee facilities, the shared bathroom was very dated and stinky. Oh and there was a copper... More

I don't know what kind of hotel but it's not one. There was no electricity in the room asked nicely to change rooms only to get a no. The... More

Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
