I should have stayed longer. If I'm going to come back some day - this hotel will be strongly considered as a place to visit again. Little gem hidden in the Westminster. Little price for atmospheric room. Super kind staff at reception desk. I have been in this hotel in 2006, changed a lot for better. Well done Management!!!

Arrived and was given card to room 16 in the basement. Hazard tape everywhere. Get into the room to find a mans suitcase and clothes in my room! The bed was barely a single size, there was a tv, bin, fridge and very basic tea/coffee facilities, the shared bathroom was very dated and stinky. Oh and there was a copper... More

Stayed over with a friend. Had the worst room ever looked at my bedding to see period stains on it not only that but there bugs aswell as a dirty cover. I don't know what kind of hotel but it's not one. There was no electricity in the room asked nicely to change rooms only to get a no. The... More

I know you pay a low price for a basic room but you at least expect it to be safe. Two of us spent Easter weekend. 67 year old mum put in the basement single basic room with wet floors and poor lighting. Complained and was told they would move her the following day. To leave her case packed and... More

V clean room, small but with all basic requirements provided, therefore good value for money. Location central and staff helpful, even supplying sweets! Only complaint is that I greatly resent paying a charge on my debit card payment (there is a notice up, it's true, but I didn't see it). Apart from that, fine!

I've had a few nightmare experiences in hotels this cheap before, but I've always worked on a policy of 'it's for one night, suck it up'. However, I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by the Chester Hotel. My room was tiny, but had everything I needed - towels, a kettle, two big mirrors, plenty of hangers, tv and... More

Picked this hotel without having read any reviews - which definitely is a first for me! We stayed in the hotel for 2 nights (over the weekend) and were given a groundfloor room (right behind the reception) upon arrival. Since the blind wouldn't shut, I asked to change the room and we got a room on the upper floor (where... More

Hello, we travelled 3 adults and child to London for 2 days only - we wanted something closer to city centre, cheap and not that big (and busy). Chester hotel was last minute choice and I must say it was good hotel. Room tiny with all things you need so it wasn't negative, although was a bit dusty (my girls... More

We usually stay in a slightly cheaper B&B in Victoria, but decided to pay a little more as the rooms looked nicer & we wasn't bothered about the hotel not supplying breakfast. The rooms look nice on the website & too be fare they 'probably' have been refurbished fairly recently, however they have not been looked after, the chandelier was... More

Booked this place because it was cheap and its location to Victoria coach station. Wasn't expecting much but this was unacceptable. The roof of the bathroom leaked after the person above us had a shower and when we complained it took us two attempts to get something to be done about it. They just tried to ignore the first complaint.... More

Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
