Excellent location, 1 nag is that they took card payment before we got there and was expecting to pay the full amount on arrival! This place is going though a refurbishment at the moment we was in the 1st of meny new room and what a delight, It was clean & tidy. Definitely stay here again

First an e-mail where there was an online cancelling. Probably my fault. Called the hotel. Talked to a very nice guy who just handled everything perfectly. Got my room when arriving. Two very nice young ladies working there showed me my room, where the bathroom was and everything with a - just say if you need anything at all! Thank... More

Suited me fine for just myself for 1 night however I did feel the ensuite wasn't in the best condition - dusty and bathroom fixtures left out. My room was cold and I could hear a lot of noise from outside the room. The tv didn't work, not that I really minded as I wasn't ever in the room long.... More

After reading previous reviews, I didn't know what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised. On arrival the staff give us a map with main attractions circled and asked if there was anywhere in particular we wanted to visit that he could mark, he also give us directions and the number of the buses we would need. The room was... More

I had a reservation to stay at the Chester Hotel next week, and even though the website where I confirmed the reservation expressly stated that I will not be required to pay any deposit in advance, this hotel still attempted without my instruction or authorization to debit my credit card. When they failed, they asked me for "valid credit card"... More

Paid £100 a night for a small double bed for me and my boyfriend. I kept falling off the bed at night and the bathroom area was the size of an airplane lavatory. Also I was in room 14 which was on the top floor and had to carry my suitcase up 3 flights of narrow stairs. It was clean... More

Can quite openly admit that this hotel is not worth £10 a night never mind £60 per night which I paid. The single rooms are smaller than prison cells with the beds to match. Dirty, shared bathroom without a proper shower. Cold and damp area to stay (in the cellar) and the staff were not particularly helpful (the one spoke... More

I stayed in a single room for 3 nighs. Was very happy with the location, the staff were friendly enough and the room was clean though very small. It was adequate for my needs and on the less expensive end of things considering its central London, but be aware it's not the sort of hotel you stay in if you... More

Very good location and friendly staff. Single room is small but what would you expect for this price in central London 2 minutes away from Victoria Station. Room and hotel were clean and noise level was ok.

Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
