The location is excellent being a couple of streets north of Oxford Street and within easy walking distance of Marble Arch station and the shops. The apartment had all the facilities we needed for our four night stay, including a well equipped kitchen with fridge and freezer, a table and 2 chairs, and a settee and freeview TV. The road... Perfect location near Tube (Marble Arch), bus stop, Oxford str. Though we had some problems upon check in, a new room was given immediately. Very polite front desk(both Carl & Dimitri), very clean rooms and a perfect equipped kitchenette. Highly recommended for long or short staying. Elisavet Maria Penelope.

I bid for this apartment for 3 in a charity auction and got it for less than the right price for a night. However me and my 2 friends went for a girlie night out in London and would happily pay the right price next time. On arrival Dimitri immediately asked if we would prefer twin beds in the bedroom... This hotel is ok. It is a bit dated and needs renovation. The hallway carpet is shaggy and weird. It is safe and fairly clean although there was a dusty used tissue under my bed. It appeared that no one cleaned areas that were not in plain sight. We proceeded to sterilized almost every surface with dettol disinfectant from the... More

I picked this hotel because it compared in location to my usual one and was much cheaper. The decor is strictly Ikea but it was clean and comfortable. I can't praise Dimitry, the concierge, enough! He was helpful when I arrived, helped to send fedex home, helpful when I left!! By the way: I was traveling alone, I am a... More

We've just been to London for a girl's get together/retail therapy couple of days. In the past we've had two hotel rooms for the 4 of us but it's not ideal so my friend found this apartment which absolutely perfect. Two of us shared the bedroom ( we'd asked for two singles but guess you could request a double bed... More

We stayed here for 5 nights at the end of June. The room was OK, bit dingy, but the bathroom was so small and cramped. The beds were very old and the covers looked dirty. The TV was from the day TV was invented. Not much good to say here. Would NEVER stay here again. Good location, but thats about... More

Our one bedroom apartment was spacious, well located, and the staff were great! Close to local transit, numerous restaurants (in particular, the sushi next door was very good) and handy food stores (Tesco next door, Selfridges a few blocks away) Our room was ready for us even though we arrived earlier than the scheduled check-in time. The bedroom was large,... More

The so called Executive Studios are a joke. Here's the lowdown: . Bathroom is so small there is no shelf to even put toiletries, nowhere to hang even a shirt. Broken toilet. . Lounge 20 year old couch in disgusting condition - very poor veneer panelling throughout . Mattresses are soft and old. Pillows the same . Kitchen. Appliances are... More

We had booked and paid for four nights at the end of May in a one bedroom apartment after careful research already six months before. The night (!) before the booking started they let us know that "for maintenance reasons", they had to put us into a studio instead of the one bedroom apartment. For us as a family with... More

Staying in Marylebone

Neighborhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
