Service was good staff were friendly and helpful. The room was fine, only drawback we were opposite a room that led into an outside area and the people in there had their door opened and were talking until 4 in the morning. That kept us awake until we finally told them to be quiet and they shut the door. Perhaps... More

We have stayed in this hotel off and on over the last 15 years. It has gone downhill very rapidly. The bathroom was disgusting, the shower in our room did not work, it dripped all night keeping us awake, the curtains did not fit the window and the window had no latch to keep it open. We were very disappointed... More

As my review title says, the only positive things about the hotel are reasonable price, and good location. Walking distance to Edgware Road and Paddington stations, and to Hyde park. Many shops and restaurants near. The room was old and worn. Bedlinen and towels were clean, but walls had weird stains, and the carpet felt sticky. The bathroom wasn't far... More

Being smack in the middle of London makes it rather expensive. The rooms were small, the building was not well maintained and stairs leading to our room on the 3rd floor were so narrow we had problems getting our luggage up. Its only plus point was its location. Anyway, we managed to survive a 2-day stay with not much problems.... More

This hotel needs updating and a good clean. Showers are a "wet room" style withhold brown tiled floor patched up grouting ,loose taps. The rooms are tired. The budget breakfast provided warm water in a teapot with packets of coffee or teabags and basic cooked breakfast.

We stayed in this hotel as I have stayed in another hotel nearby and it was close to Paddington station. Don't stay in room 4 as the spotlight shines in at night and you get the noise from the traffic.

Where do I start?? Booked quad / family room via bookings.com for £170 for the one night. Not worth it at fraction of that price... Ok for cheap stag slum to crash in but not for family... On arrival your greeted with the stench of old egg and fat drifting up from breakfast area, unfortunately my room was next to... More

For a central location in London, the prices were ok, lower than for other similar ones, but it's not exactly what regular people will call a hotel. It's more like a B&B. The room was clean and the breakfast substantial (english or continental, at your choice). However, the en-suite bathroom was the smallest we've ever seen in our lives. But... More
