My 14 year old son and I stayed in a twin room for 6 days. We love this place! Carol is delightful, the breakfast is tasty and the location could not be better. For a budget hotel, it does not get any better than this in London. I wore earplugs to block out street noise but it was definitely bearable. More

My partner and I stayed here in August 2011. We loved how close the B&B was to the tube station and Hyde Park. Lovely streets and sooooo many restuarants etc near by. (Try and find the Pride of Paddington Pub if you stay here... up towards the tube station. BEST BBQ ribs ever! And awesome pub atmosphere!) However, the hotel... More

When I arrived I was excited to be so close to Paddington Station and Hyde Park and the other houses / hotels on the street are just lovely. The welcome was quite warm but the owner did make me feel guilty that my company had requested a double bed for me...don't adults usually sleep in double beds? I'm quite fit... More

Good location and warm service. The only drawback is that the hotel does not have any lift and in my case I had to go up six floors with my luggage. In addition, I was in the last floor and the bathroom of that floor did not have shower, so I had to go down two floors in order to... More

This place is so easily located to all the London attractions and transport areas, it was great for moving around for our sightseeing and tours. Breakfast was served with a smile. Very nice atmosphere and the accomodations were very clean. More

The hotel is in a great area, full of life and activity. It is located in a quieter street, but nonetheless, 3 minutes walk from the centre of everything, including the Underground. The owner is very friendly, sometimes a bit too friendly. I felt like she was judging us more than I was judging the hotel! Anyway, the rooms were... More

Everytime I go to London I sleep there. Carole is very welcoming and kind. Also the spanish girl who works there is very nice. Complimentary English breakfast is served every morning downstairs. Do not expect Hilton standards but it is very clean and very very close to Oxford street. Only 3 minutes walking from Paddington station and there is a... More

First off, the walk to the hotel to ABSOLUTLEY AGES. It was only one street away, but it felt like an eternity! After mouting the staris to get to the front door, our wrst fear were then confirmed... there was no lift at this 'establishment'. The owner (Carole) was a proper Londoner and gave us a authentic experience of London.... More

This place is probably a good value place to stay in central London if what happened to us does not happen to you. First the good things: the location is probably one of the best you can get, as it is very centrally located next to Paddington Station and also Oxford Street where you can walk to, shops etc. The... My wife and I arrived late afternoon after an overnight flight and delayed connection from Montreal, so we were pretty exhausted upon arrival. We'd asked for two twin beds, as we have sleeping problems and need more room than a double bed offers; unfortunately this wasn't available yet but we were given an extra room for the first night at...
