The (self-advertised?) 5* rating might be a bit farfetched, as there seems to be a minimum of staff (we met the receptionist, that's it) and lack of facilities, e.g. bar or minibar (there is a fridge with water, though) or luggage storage room - the small "lobby" started to get filled with luggage of guests that checked out already. Pretty much as above in the tag-line. The Lord Milner is beautifully decorated, but so small. It felt relatively suffocating as far as I was concerned. Although it had a great location I think we would have been better off spending our money elsewhere. We didn't bother with breakfast; we'd already spent far too much on the room for one... More

I stayed in the Lady Milner room for two nights on a solo work trip to London. I would have given it an "average" rating but for some significant (but fixable) issues with my stay. On the plus side: The hotel itself is well-kept and has friendly service. Also the hotel is conveniently located on a pleasant small street. The... More

I really liked this hotel and will use it from now on whenever I'm in London. The location is great if you want to access the upmarket shopping of Belgravia and Knightsbridge. I felt very comfortable there as a lady travelling alone and there are several really nice little wine bars and bistros close by where one can eat. The... More

This hotel is advertised as a 5 star hotel, and as we like our luxuries decided to book this, as is looked great, and the location was perfect! Please listen to me and don't bother wasting your hard earned money, it in my eyes would only have been rated as a 2 star, it really wasn't up to scratch. We... More

Not good at all. Very small but tidy room. Could hear doors always opening/closing above, below and at sides along with all the footsteps. They ask you to specify a time for breakfast which is delivered to your room which we gave, they managed to get it to our room late and to top it off stone cold and obviously... More

We stayed at the Lord Milner for 3 nights and were overall pleased with the experience. Our room was the Rose Room as we wanted a King size bed. It was on the small side but clean and nicely furnished. We would have liked a stand for our suitcases. The staff was very pleasant and helpful and made us dinner... More

Overall, it was a nice room. Extremely overpriced, but clean and comfy beds. Just so so small. I couldn't even open my luggage up. I had to open it on the bed, get something out, and then return to the corner. More

We spent 2 uncomfortable nights at the Lynton Hotel next door & decided to try to find something better. We stopped by The Lord Milner to see what they had available. For only 60 GBP more per night, there was a huge difference. We were given the Garden Suite which is on the lower floor facing the back of the... More
