This is the second time I've stayed at the Haymarket and once again it did not disappoint. What makes this hotel great is the level of attentiveness from the staff. From the doormen, front of desk, dining area and cleaners, nothing was too much trouble. I've now stayed at 4 Firmdale hotels on over 25 occasions, all for pleasure, and... More

After reading the reviews on here I was so looking forward to staying at the Haymarket for a couple of nights but unfortunately too many little things let down the whole experience. From no hot water in room, to being asked to pay for drinks that were complimentary, to finding hair in breakfast that made me physically sick to then... More

My most favourite cocktail bar did not disappoint, excellent service with great tasting cocktails and food as always! Very attentive staff and nothing is ever too much, even charging my mobile phone for me!

I've stayed at the Haymarket twice now and will only stay here whenever we're in London from now on. The location is fantastic and the building is gorgeous, but it's the interiors and staff that really make it. Rooms are individual and beautifully designed. The bed linen is worth a mention, such a treat as plenty of high end hotels... More

Was here as part of a team Christmas event for Afternoon Tea. The decor and atmosphere were fantastic - quirky, modern, but not too 'out there'. Excellent service - really friendly and super-helpful. Lots of food, with really tasty sandwiches and scones. The patisserie options and cakes were not so popular, but that was mainly down to personal taste. The... More

Me and my wife stayed here for 6 nights on our honeymoon. This is the best positioned hotel in London no doubt at all. 2 minutes to Piccadilly, Trafalgar Square 3 minutes, west end 5 minutes, really so central. Beautifully decorated hotel with great spaces and amenities. Room was superb, massive luxury bed with top notch linen. Luxurious bathroom, twin... More

My daughter and I stayed at the wonderful Haymarket Hotel at the beginning of November and it was simply fabulous. The room we had was exquisitely decorated with loads of space and amenities, had a huge bathroom and was spotless. The beds were to die for and extremely comfortable. The location was convenient for sightseeing, shopping and the theatre, and... More

My family and I stayed at the Haymarket Hotel for 5 days over the Thanksgiving holiday. We chose the Haymarket Hotel based upon the excellent ratings it received on TripAdvisor and its close proximity to a lot of London attractions. Boy, we were NOT disappointed! The Haymarket Hotel is beautifully decorated and very clean. My family and I had 2... More

My wife and myself spent the last weekend in the fabulous - but not cheap - Haymarket Hotel just around the corner from Picadilly Circus. We stayed in a Junior Suite with view on the Haymarket street. The bed was very confy and the sofa a soft landscape of pillows. The bath is huge with shower and bath (incl. TV).... More

Staying in Trafalgar Square / Embankment

Neighborhood Profile
Trafalgar Square / Embankment
With its iconic Nelson’s Column, majestic oversized lions and brightly-lit fountains, Trafalgar Square is not just considered the heart of this bustling London hub, but the very core of the city itself. Beyond this esteemed gathering place are more famous icons, as well as a disproportionate numbers of the city’s most popular cultural attractions including the National Gallery and many West End theaters. Along the way to these major sites are quiet lanes and antiquated pubs to discover, as well as riverside vistas to enjoy on the embankment. With a calendar full of celebratory events, any time of year is a fine time to visit.
