Had the most fabulous weekend at the Haymarket, our two Townhouse rooms were both stunning, beautifully decorated. Our spacious room was the nicest hotel suite we have ever stayed in, with a huge marble bathroom and walk in wardrobe, both rooms & bathrooms were spotlessly clean. Clever touches, such as scented candles in the rooms and beautiful liquid soaps. Amazing... More

This is one of the better hotels I've stayed at. With 150 travel days per year I'm picky, but this was just perfect. Great room with comfortable bed, quiet (didn't even hear the screaming kid in the next room once my door was closed), clean, nice decor, perfect bathroom with good products and comfy robe. Only thing I missed was... More

Stayed here unfortunately for just the 1 night for a weekend away in London and Wedding proposal! The hotel is amazing, the standard of the rooms is perfect, the bar/restaurant and facilities are superb and the staff are second to none They were key to the proposal and did everything they could to make the weekend special for us, and... I stayed here for five nights on business this past week. Weather outside was cold, grey and rainy, but the Haymarket sustained me brilliantly. First off: I loved the fun, stylish decor. For the first time in my life, I actually looked up my hotel's decorator. Kit Kemp is the sort of person who can match purple and red and... More

My husband booked us into the Haymarket Hotel for a surprise birthday treat and I was not disappointed. From the moment we entered the hotel we were met with beautiful surroundings and a relaxed atmosphere. The staff were helpful, efficient and most importantly friendly and welcoming. The room was beautiful, mini bar was well stocked with an excellent selection of... More

Our second stay at the Haymarket this year, both exceptional. Luxury isn't hard to find (at a price) in London, but this hotel stands out. Notwithstanding its many other virtues - the location, quiet rooms, heavenly linens and the (glam) pool - this hotel's best feature is its staff and the atmosphere they create ... attentive, but not intrusive, full... This is a really lovely hotel and very central for shopping, theatre, Covent garden etc. it feels as though it is a small hotel, although not really sure as we were on ground floor. The staff are very friendly and the doorman is always happy to whistle up a cab for you. The rooms are great, the bed is really... More

Haymarket hotel is a beautiful and stylish boutique hotel with very central location---just a few footsteps from the well-known Trafalgar Square and Piccadilly Circus. We had a free upgrade to a junior luxury suite, which has elegant design and spacious bedroom and bath room. We had our late night dinner in the hotel, very reasonable price and good quality. The... Staying in Trafalgar Square / Embankment

Neighborhood Profile
Trafalgar Square / Embankment
With its iconic Nelson’s Column, majestic oversized lions and brightly-lit fountains, Trafalgar Square is not just considered the heart of this bustling London hub, but the very core of the city itself. Beyond this esteemed gathering place are more famous icons, as well as a disproportionate numbers of the city’s most popular cultural attractions including the National Gallery and many West End theaters. Along the way to these major sites are quiet lanes and antiquated pubs to discover, as well as riverside vistas to enjoy on the embankment. With a calendar full of celebratory events, any time of year is a fine time to visit.
