Stayed for two nights with two friends. Apartment had everything we needed and was tastefully kitted out. Beautiful views of the shard and the London eye. Only criticism was lack of lift, we were on the top floor. Would recommend. A fab weekend!

Had apartment 61a, fab two bedroomed apartment , really great weekend and a beautiful view of the shard, and London eye, only small criticism not enough teas coffee, sugar, toilet rolls and toiletries for our stay , and I had to share a double bed with my sister, really one of the beds should be at least queen sized, but only... I stayed 6 nights last october with my wife. The place was being bought by Allstay. We had a great time and the apartment was very comfortable, bed was fine the bathroom a little small, the wifi worked fine and the receptionist were very friendly. The place is 10 min walk from london bridge station.

Stayed here for two nights in December. Yes, apartments are hard to find if you do not research the location/directions before hand, but if you have, as I did, you will have no problems finding the place! We stayed in a two bedroom apartment, which was very clean, had one en suite and another separate bathroom, great views of the... More

read several of the reviews, but must say on the opposite side of the building (west) the view was spectacular! Facing Shard and downtown London, walking to Borough Market, Southwark Cathedral and London Bridge station. Spacious, well appointed, clean, staff excellent. Only concern was at drop off-hard to find entrance and neighborhood (Bermondsey) still a bit 'in transition'. But once... More

I really wanted to love this place as it is really well situated for London Bridge. Sadly it was one of the worst night's sleep I've had in some time. It's a bit fiddly to find as they have recently changed hands and haven't yet replaced the signage. The staff were very friendly and helpful particularly as there had been... More

We were having trouble finding an affordable hotel for 3 people in central London, and were traveling with a total of five people. We booked a two bedroom unit and it worked out perfectly. The beds were comfortable. There were two sofas and a table for six in the living area. Having a full size kitchen was great for breakfasts... More

We booked 3 two-bedded apartment for our group of 15 in Dec2014. The staff at the apartel are totally angels. Without them, this place is really wasted. The location is good, 10mins walk to London bridge train station and tower bridge. The apartments are beautiful but totally dirty. The cleaners didn't do a good job. I would like to suggest... More

Had a very great stay, 2 bedroom apartment, loads of space. Was very quiet location, stayed in number 61 so was on the top floor, only downfall was loads of stairs going up to apartment with luggage. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great price. Near to tower hill tube station, co-op and sainsburys near by to buy essentials for apartment.

I don't know about other people's apartments but ours was a disappointment. It's close to both my wife and my work and we were having building work done so decided to stay in town. We got to stay on the 4th floor of a steel & glass constructed building whose bottom floor/s were "Regus" rented office space, maybe we were... More

Staying in Southwark

Neighborhood Profile
Southwark
Even before the arrival of the instantly iconic Shard, the riverside scene in Southwark had moved well beyond any up-and-coming phase of development. For quite some time, locals and out-of-towners alike have loved browsing the boutiques of Bermondsey High Street, foraging through the bounteous stalls at centuries old foodie haven Borough Market, and flocking to the banks of the Thames to enjoy some of Britain's biggest attractions such as Tate Modern and Shakespeare's Globe. Despite Southwark's many popular draws, instant calm can be achieved easily by turning down almost any side street. For more urban buzz, a quick stroll across famed bridges like the pedestrianized Millennium Bridge or the ever photogenic Tower Bridge yields access to the very core of Central London. And with London Bridge Station as this neighborhood's main transportation hub, getting across town (or to anywhere in England for that matter) is a relative breeze.
