I checked in - perfect. Nice and friendly staff although somewhat put off by the unprofessional A4 printed paper which was the sign for Reception on the exterior window. Shown to my room - great service. Only 1 key for the room - actually not convenient at all as my husband was coming after work and I had to be... More

We booked an open plan apartment with kettle and toaster, assuming we'd get just that. We had a fully equipped one bed flat. It was very comfortable, spotlessly clean, the reception staff were very helpful and efficient, nothing was a problem. It felt like a home away from home where we could completely relax on our own timetable. Cheap on... More

Good cost effective serviced apartment option when hotels are overpriced Booked a 1 bedroom apartment but given a two bedroom. Quality good and spacious. Very little provided, just some milk sachets that proved to be off. Other places like this I have stayed provide small breakfast basket etc. Apartments are in a mix of small business offices and rooms which... More

We stayed for a little more than a week over Christmas. A party of two. Convenient location for public transport (tube at London Bridge) Taxis and Uber are another story... the units are set back off the road and hard to see. You have to go out on to the street to wave your ride down. Noisy! The inner courtyard... More

The Apartment was roomy, clean and well equipped. It was a leisure trip, plenty of Christmas shopping and sight seeing. It was around a 10 minute walk from the nearest underground but easy to find, private and we felt very secure.

Stayed here for two months due to job relocation. Poorly cleaned, floors were never mopped only hoovered. Whole place felt grubby and bedding and towels were old and of poor quality. The beds were small and cheap. For the money, it was not good value.

We spent 3 days in this location here just before Xmas 2015. The location is very convenient to travel anywhere in London city... easily and smoothly. We did rent 2 x two bedrooms apartment. The apartment were spacious and well equiped. However, details, details details... maintenance was not very well done... to say the least... water heater appears to be... More

We spent a week here pre Xmas. An excellent location. Sadly, the finish on the building is not good. The showers are small, the floor boards creak (a lot) which interfere with those trying to sleep. The wifi proved difficult to access and only seemed to work in the sitting room. The location is what makes up for the building... More

This serviced apartment is in good location and close to London bridge station and if you cross the tower bridge you can catch Tube fromTower hill station as well - both are good 15 minute walk. Apartment is quite spacious ,modern and clean with working kitchen and we were given an upgrade which was nice -overall this is 4 star... More

Staying in Southwark

Neighborhood Profile
Southwark
Even before the arrival of the instantly iconic Shard, the riverside scene in Southwark had moved well beyond any up-and-coming phase of development. For quite some time, locals and out-of-towners alike have loved browsing the boutiques of Bermondsey High Street, foraging through the bounteous stalls at centuries old foodie haven Borough Market, and flocking to the banks of the Thames to enjoy some of Britain's biggest attractions such as Tate Modern and Shakespeare's Globe. Despite Southwark's many popular draws, instant calm can be achieved easily by turning down almost any side street. For more urban buzz, a quick stroll across famed bridges like the pedestrianized Millennium Bridge or the ever photogenic Tower Bridge yields access to the very core of Central London. And with London Bridge Station as this neighborhood's main transportation hub, getting across town (or to anywhere in England for that matter) is a relative breeze.
