Stayed for 7 nights for our first visit to London. Fraser Place Apartments recommended by our travel agent and is nearby Glouster railway stations, restaurants, post office, tour offices, supermarkets etc. Great spot for walking to many locations - 10 minutes to Natural History Museum and Victoria & Albert Museum, a further 15 minutes to Harrods and another 30 minutes... The rooms were a disappointment. Everything is old. Our two chairs had big red wine stains on them, the couch was old and the lights were difficult to turn on. The pull out couch bed was nothing but springs and only sleeps one. We tried to put the old couch cushions on them becasue you could not sleep on it.... More

We stayed 4 nights at Fraser Place Queens Gate in August 2010 while on the last leg of our round the world trip. Our travel agent had booked a "Super delux room" six months prior. We checked in and were taken to our room which was a disapointment, not a super delux in our book on the lower ground floor... More

I would not normally rate this apartment as "very good" but considering how difficult it is to find a good apartment in London, I have given this hotel the overall rating of 4/5. We booked the one bedroom apartment but were upgraded to a two bedroom apartment which was a pleasant experience. The front desk staff is extremely efficient in... More

Stayed with wife and 2 teenagers in June this year. As most reviewers mentioned, the location is great, next to the famous museums, and also we took walks around the Kensington neigborhood and the it's a lovely area. We also received very good service from the staff, from making early check-in to late check-out. There is also free coffee round... More

This review is extremely long overdue -- and I actually thought I wrote it already, but clearly I had not! DH and I actually got to stay at this hotel for my birthday week, in November 2009. We "won" the hotel stay through another site, and were a little apprehensive about how it was going to be. We were quite... More

Booked on-line in Feb 2010, received discount for booking on-line. Good communications with booking team. Stayed end of June for three nights, attending the Hard Rock music festival on one night, sigh-seeing and shopping for the rest of the visit to London. Very friendly staff throughout entire visit. Plus on arrival were told our room had been upgraded from studio... More

Great clean hotel in the heart of South Kensington. Easy walk to museums, gardens, Harrods, food, tube. Helpful staff, clean hotel room. Mostly quiet for the location. We booked as part of a BA package and would stay there again. Highly recommended.

I stayed at this hotel from May 24-28th. We booked this hotel as my niece was staying with me and my husband. I did not book the 2bds as I read on a review that the 2nd bedroom was a loft style. We were upgraded to a 2bd/1ba upon arrival. The bedrooms were completly enclosed and the bathroom was separate... More

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
