Spent a few nights here for meetings in London and Oxford. It's the first time I've stayed in a studio - lovely and spacious for one person. I liked that I could cook my own breakfast - the establishment serves continental breakfast. Fantastic reception staff - Fatia and Ralph - friendly and helpful and efficient group of people. Tube station... More

We prefer to stay in a studio apartment when visiting big cities because we enjoy shopping in local grocery stores, patisseries, and delicatessen's, bringing the bounty home and preparing our own meals complete with wine purchased at reasonable prices. We stayed for seven nights in this mostly elegant property near the Royal Albert Hall and the great museums of South... More

First stayed here in 2008 and thereafter in 2013. Then stayed in November 29- December 1 & thereafter December 3-6. My first room was a 1 bedroom apartment on the 2nd floor and it was very nice. Must say never cooked there but to our knowledge all appliances were working well. When I returned from my trip in Bath booked... More

I stayed here in early December. Much has been written about the convenience of this hotel, but though I don't often write reviews (having generally little to add) this time I would like to present a rather different story. Arriving a little early, I checked in at 4pm. (As an aside - not specific to this hotel, but nonetheless relevant... More

Booked an Executive Studio which was very spacious with superb en-suite with underfloor heating, fully equipped kitchen area (electric fan oven, hob, microwave, coffee machine, toaster etc), king sized bed. Waitrose less than 3 minute walk away and Royal Albert Hall a leisurely 13 minute walk away. Will stay here again next time we have a concert at RAH.

Quality staff who can't do enough to help you. Comfy bed and well equipped rooms. Tastefully furnished and sympathetically refurbished. Excellent location with tube station and supermarket & restaurants nearby. Faultless!

My husband and I had stayed here 3 years previously and opted to stay here again on this visit. As the cost had risen significantly, I did research other options, but in the end decided to go with what we knew. Now I can understand the increase in prices. Firstly, London itself is much more expensive so it figures accommodation... More

Spent 5 nights during September in a 1br apartment. I had my two Nieces joining me so needed the extra room. I cannot rave enough about this property. I had requested, if possible, an apartment with a washing machine as I was staying here at the end of a 3 week tour and was desperate to wash my clothes. When... More

Visited London for business. Decided to stay at an apartment type and after reading reviews i considered the Fraser. Good choice!. The area has restaurants, bus stops and metro stations, banks, supermarkets. Also Harrods and Royal Albert Hall are just minutes away.

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
