I am now enduring my second night in an Executive Studio apartment. The room is quite comfortable and clean but I am not impressed with this establishment. When I booked I found a rate on the Frasers website and then logged into their frequent guess programme website, which claims to give a 5% discount. I was shocked to find that... More

We stayed at the Fraser Suites for a week and couldn't be more pleased. The hotel is conveniently located near the Gloucester tube station, the Barclay's Bank, and a food market. A few minutes walk and we were at the Museum of Natural History, the Science Museum, and the Victoria & Albert. A pleasant walk north brought us to Kensington... More

This was our second stay at Fraser Suites Queens Gate and a much quieter stay than the last one. We booked a one bedroom executive bedroom, which had a separate bedroom to the lounge, dining, kitchen. They originally allocated us room LG02, but when we got into the room it looked out on to the Gloucester Road which is exceedingly... More

We stayed at the Fraser Suites Queens Gate in early January 2015. We found the room to be nearly perfect. There were no heating issues (see earlier comments by others). Staff was attentive and responded quickly to a minor issue. The bathroom towel heater made noise until we found a setting that quieted it down (reported to management as we... More

Two years ago we stayd/lived at the Fraser Suites South Kensington for six months and could see this property from our flat while it was under renovation. My husband is in London on business but I am on my own all day. This property is conveniently located to many shops, attractions and an Underground Tube station providing access to anywhere.... I found the Fraser to be nearly excellent for my needs. This was luxury for me in many ways. I don't often spend my own money on places like this, but when the expense report allows it, I revel in the luxury. It's a shame business kept me from any tourist adventures; I can't comment on Hyde park or any... More

If you think this will be a Four Star Experience...think again. Where do I start? Well at the beginning of course :) Booking your stay 1. When booking your room, please make sure to contact the hotel directly by phone and not through Booking.com. Booking.com claims to offer "deals" like free continental breakfast with the room purchase. Unfortunately this wass... More

Spent a few nights here for meetings in London and Oxford. It's the first time I've stayed in a studio - lovely and spacious for one person. I liked that I could cook my own breakfast - the establishment serves continental breakfast. Fantastic reception staff - Fatia and Ralph - friendly and helpful and efficient group of people. Tube station... More

We prefer to stay in a studio apartment when visiting big cities because we enjoy shopping in local grocery stores, patisseries, and delicatessen's, bringing the bounty home and preparing our own meals complete with wine purchased at reasonable prices. We stayed for seven nights in this mostly elegant property near the Royal Albert Hall and the great museums of South... More

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
