"Reception" in "hotel" was a bedside cabinet equipped with a scrap of paper and a pen with no ink. En-suite room with a double bed...what a joke !! headboard was not attached, top sheet was folded in half and when I opened it to make the bed properly found BLOOD STAINS on it, top blanket had large burn holes. Room... More

I can not be bothered to list the full extent of how awful this place is. The room is small, damp, cold and dirty. The place has no facilities. It's just not worth your time or effort even considering it as a place to stay. I can honestly say I would rather sleep in a tube station over night, it... More

So this hotel is absolutely horrid. Don't get me wrong, I wasn't expecting 5 star luxury, but this hotel is truly dreadful. Booked a triple room, which showed three single beds in the pictures, but when we arrived there was a single and a double. The website, if you go on it, is totally misleading: there is a picture of... More

Very tired, dated and worn. However location makes up for this and if you are just looking for somewhere to lay your head at night , then this is adequate. The room was clean and warm and the bedding fresh. Breakfast was very basic but once again, adequate. We would stay here again because of price for its central London... More

Booked two nights weekend just gone how this place is still open is a mystery to me. There was a fire in store room under our room and in early hours of sat morn had to be evacuated by fireman into cold smoke filled our room and no smoke detectors went off! We got back in room hour later just... More

We stayed here on a Sunday night, which would explain the cheap cost but we only paid £25 for a double room. I think this is very good price for a room in central London. The room was basic and although the bathroom was shared it was right next to our room. It was clean, tidy and warm. Breakfast was... More

Never book this hotel. I booked a double room in this hotel & when we arrived we were told there was a problem with the room, there wasn't a proper reception just a guy with a set of drawers that had scraps of paper in with bookings. I spoke to the manager in the phone he couldn't even be bothered... More

I spent a few nights here as after check in I was told no refund was available. This was definate the worst hotel experience I've ever had. A few notes - guy in charge is about as creepy as can be. (Letting himself into my room early morning while I was sleeping for no reason whatsoever) - the public areas... More

Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
