We stayed here on a Sunday night, which would explain the cheap cost but we only paid £25 for a double room. I think this is very good price for a room in central London. The room was basic and although the bathroom was shared it was right next to our room. It was clean, tidy and warm. Breakfast was... More

Never book this hotel. I booked a double room in this hotel & when we arrived we were told there was a problem with the room, there wasn't a proper reception just a guy with a set of drawers that had scraps of paper in with bookings. I spoke to the manager in the phone he couldn't even be bothered... More

I spent a few nights here as after check in I was told no refund was available. This was definate the worst hotel experience I've ever had. A few notes - guy in charge is about as creepy as can be. (Letting himself into my room early morning while I was sleeping for no reason whatsoever) - the public areas... More

This is by far the worst hotel I have ever had dealings with. Two hours before we were due to drop our bags off at the hotel, I received a call stating that a pipe had burst and our room was uninhabitable. I was then told I should find a room in another hotel. After much arguing, the hotel manager... More

My partner and I decided to have a weekend in London earlier this year. It was a last minute decision and close to then end of the month, so our funding was a bit on the low side (we are both students but have small jobs). For this reason we decided to pluck for a budget visit. Both my partner... More

Came to London to visit with my boyfriend and after a day of shopping we needed somewhere to go as we live too far away. We found this place for a reasonable price on hostelbookers.com.. It was not a pleasant visit at all and it was so awful that we could not sleep all night and ended up leaving and... More

Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
