We stayed here for 11 nights last month. Myself and my 7 year old daughter. The shared bathrooms are great, look refurbished and new and I never had to wait for one. The rooms are very small but i think good value considering other options. Best things i found nearby were a waitrose for some groceries and a free coffee... More

Stayed here 4 nights because of its location which is minutes away from Russell Square and King Cross Stations. Staff were really friendly and helpful. We were allowed to leave some of our luggage there a week before we checked in as we headed north of UK before coming back for our last leg of the trip. Common shower and... More

As a teacher, I spent seven nights with my two dozen well-behaved young people at this charming place. For the 18-year-olds we had triplets and quads which were small, but that was not a problem, as we only used them as a sleeping base. More importantly, the rooms, showers, etc were very clean and the staff very hospitable.

My mom and I walked here, with our rolling bags, from King's Cross Station, and found the walk to be quite easy. We stayed here for three nights, with a break to go to Cambridge. The room is quite small, mostly filled by the bed, but we were fine with this. The bathrooms are shared, one on each stairway landing.... More

Thanks for the review - though it seems you stayed a while ago, as we now have free Wifi throughout the whole hotel :) as well as still having the free PC in the Guest Lounge to use. There is also free Wifi in the Bloomsbury Coffeehouse downstairs. More

I stayed there for 2 nights with a friend. I had a shared bathroom, which was no problem to me, considering that the prices were great and close to public transportation. Everyone was really helpful with any questions I had. Great service.

We travelled as a family of four, and opted for a family room with en-suite; this turned out to be a mistake. The room was barely large enough for the beds (two of which were bunks) and the bathroom was minuscule - perhaps the smallest I've ever seen. The next night we had to change rooms, as ours was committed... More

Thanks for your review - which although doesn't make the best of reading I'd say it gave a fair representation of our place. Our rooms & bathrooms are small, sometimes tiny - this is reflected in our prices. All our rooms are different shapes & sizes - reflecting how this hotel has grown organically over the years. If people come... More

St. Athans Hotel "does what it says on the tin". A friendly, affordable and welcoming place in the heart of Bloomsbury. About equidistant between the British Library and the British Museum it's ideal if wanting to visit these cultural hubs. I hope to stay there again.

A nice friendly hotel in a great position. Well maintained and clean and tidy with a safe, comfortable feel. Within walking distance of the British Museum and St Pancras station and surrounded by streets full of interesting shops. The cafe downstairs is lovely, airy and well priced with great food (& 10% off for hotel guests). I'll definitely stay here... More

I was in London with my three children for a Theater show. The family rooms are very adequate. Small...but it is London. We had one with our own bathroom. Shower, toilet and sink in the room. Staff were friendly. Our room had a double bed and a bunk bed. It's not a luxury hotel. BUt it was clean and a... More
