For London standards this hostel (I would not call it a hotel) is actually quite cheap, the atmosphere is very warm and really focussed on backpackers and people who spend a couple of days in London. The location is near Russel Street Station (underground) which is perfect while it's only a short trip to other areas like for example Covent... More

Have stayed here several times. Very good value, eco-friendly. Not smart, but clean, everything works, and staff always friendly and helpful. Recently stayed with a friend - as we were staying for 6 nights we were given (without asking) a free upgrade to a triple room. Probably the best value hotel in the area. Good little coffee shop in the... More

We were a family of 5 staying in London for 2 nights. The room was for 5 (even if the double bed was a 1.5 bed) but big enough and clean, with 1 bath towel each. Showers and toilets also were clean. The breakfast downstairs adds value to the stay!

We stayed here for 11 nights last month. Myself and my 7 year old daughter. The shared bathrooms are great, look refurbished and new and I never had to wait for one. The rooms are very small but i think good value considering other options. Best things i found nearby were a waitrose for some groceries and a free coffee... More

Stayed here 4 nights because of its location which is minutes away from Russell Square and King Cross Stations. Staff were really friendly and helpful. We were allowed to leave some of our luggage there a week before we checked in as we headed north of UK before coming back for our last leg of the trip. Common shower and... More

As a teacher, I spent seven nights with my two dozen well-behaved young people at this charming place. For the 18-year-olds we had triplets and quads which were small, but that was not a problem, as we only used them as a sleeping base. More importantly, the rooms, showers, etc were very clean and the staff very hospitable.

My mom and I walked here, with our rolling bags, from King's Cross Station, and found the walk to be quite easy. We stayed here for three nights, with a break to go to Cambridge. The room is quite small, mostly filled by the bed, but we were fine with this. The bathrooms are shared, one on each stairway landing.... More

Thanks for the review - though it seems you stayed a while ago, as we now have free Wifi throughout the whole hotel :) as well as still having the free PC in the Guest Lounge to use. There is also free Wifi in the Bloomsbury Coffeehouse downstairs. More

I stayed there for 2 nights with a friend. I had a shared bathroom, which was no problem to me, considering that the prices were great and close to public transportation. Everyone was really helpful with any questions I had. Great service.
