Ok - First the good bits. This hotel is very well placed. It was fairly clean and the staff were friendly and the wifi is free. Also the shower wasn’t bad. Its the room that was the problem. My room was on the ground floor at the front of the hotel. It was very small with the single bed pushed... More

I recommend this hotel for a cheap and short stay. The location is perfect because the underground is very close and the entrance of kensington gardens is at 3 min walk. In the same street there are supermarkets and pharmacy, so if you need something you don't have to walk miles. The room was not spacious but was clean. Breakfast... More

You can't expect too much for £35 in central London but this hotel was more than adequate. A double bed (solo traveller so comfortable enough and not noisy), en suite and a great continental breakfast. I was worried being at the top of the stairs and near reception would be noisy but it was fine. You'd stay for the convenient... More

In a cramped room with 4 bunk beds and a bathroom no bigger than a the size of a chair it was a terrible stay. The toilet was underneath the shower, the sink was way too small. We all got into bed and awoken about 8 times in the night by traffic as the window was un shut able. We... More

This hostel is unwelcome little horrible place! Staff - the worst ever! I booked a room, they refused to accommodate me and I needed to find another hotel plus they wanted to charge me for a ''No Show'' when I was clearly there, but they didn't let me to check-in as I was paying by company card! I told them... More

You have to remember when booking, that this is a budget hotel and that you are not going to get a lot of amenities. I stayed here for 10 days. Luckily, I was out and about all day, every day and I just used the room to sleep and shower. That is all it's pretty much good for. Don't expect... More

Hotel is not how I would describe this establishment. It is really rooms to let with a breakfast room which is Continental self service. Single room costing £85 with self service breakfast in London is probably ok Room was very small Double Bed and standing room only. Clean, and functional, good shower and towels. Choice of breakfast .. Very limited

The hotel is great, considering the costs in London. It is very well placed close to central line, district line and circle line - so you can go any where in london. Easy to arrive by underground from the airport, easy to go to any place in dowtown and other turistic points. The room is small, bathroom is small, but... More

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighborhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighborhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
