The hotel is great, considering the costs in London. It is very well placed close to central line, district line and circle line - so you can go any where in london. Easy to arrive by underground from the airport, easy to go to any place in dowtown and other turistic points. The room is small, bathroom is small, but... More

Still being refurbished so although room comfortable and very nice bathroom, corridors and newly installed lift still work in progress. Potential for future looks good. Good location. Breakfast good self service but very small and crowded sitting in breakfast room. One to watch for the future as refurbishment is contemporary and good.

Positive: Location (close to tube stations) Good selection of restaurants and shops nearby Negative: Value for money (price is not reflected in quality of hotel) Poor breakfast I'm going to choose another hotel next time I visit London

I went to a holiday with my daughter and found a nice deal on a website, reasonably priced hotel with good connections (walking distance from Paddigton and Heathrow Express and 3 minutes from the closest tube station). Room was tiny but nice, fairly new and tidy. Breakfast was good as well as the service at the reception. Only negative aspects... More

It's reasonably clean and cheap and the WiFi was OK but oh dear, not even a table in the room, no breakfast before 07:30, no lifts and floor 4 is a long way up, and a first for me - extra charge for the TV remote and air conditioning remote ! A real concern is that hair dryer and other... More

We picked this hotel solely to be as near to our son's flat as possible and this one looked by far the best. Other reviewers photos helped us to find it easily. Reception staff were always pleasant and offered us a room on the 2nd floor as they thought it would be quieter than the first floor with people arriving... More

Small room on the 4th floor. When I say small, I mean small. Room for the bed and a small closet in the main room, then a tiny bathroom. All functional but if you are looking for something more than a place to crash after a full day in London you are in the wrong place. AC worked fine but... More

The hotel is located on a fine location, near Hyde Park and close to 2 metro stations in a vivid street. Hower the rooms are too small, almost no space around the bed, no way to store your suitcases and a tiny bathroom. Breakfast is continental in a kind of classroom that is not fitted for the number of visitors.... More

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighborhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighborhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
