We chose this hotel because the price was good, the reviews reasonable. We were in London to see the tennis being held in the O2, the previous time we did this we chose a hotel as near as we could to the venue - the result was that we had a lot of potch getting to the O2 even though... More

We wanted a clean, safe, comfortable place to stay while we were at a conference. We had read all the reviews, and it seemed to offer all these things. The only complaint we seemed to find in the reviews was that it was small. The pictures made the place look quite dated, but we didn't mind if it was clean,... More

Stayed here for three nights in October. Staff are very friendly and the location is close to Victoria station. We were on the third floor and with the narrow stair case made it very difficult to carry three suitcases up and down. We had a ensuite room which was like they turned a wardrobe into a bathroom, it was tiny,... More

Stayed here 4 nights and were really pleasently surprised. We had a small room with bathroom in the second floor and we slept really well every night, which was the main thing for us. Staff was helpful, wifi worked well and breakfast was basic but decent. This hotel has a great location, it is close to Victoria station and Big... More

This is a good, convenient hotel in London, close to everything -walking distance from VIctoria STation. It's easy to find when staggering back, clean inside and perfect for a night stop over. Good price, reasonable breakfast-cereals and toast etc. for what I wanted it for, ie a place to kip after meeting up with mates in London, and going on... More

Great location, excellent exterior but as soon as we were admitted I had dread. Going down into the basement for the reception. Staff exceptionally friendly and informative, white bed sheets clean but that's where the positives stop. Room 9 the beds were grubby and so uncomfortable, the single is on a slant, the double is lumpy......don't look at the bases!!!!! Duvet... More

£90 for a double room in London on a saturday night can't be knocked. its within walking distance of the station, the room was clean, had a shower toilet and basin. the building was a bit run down inside (the stairs were uneven - i had visions of them collapsing!) theres no tea/coffee in rooms, but it did have a... This hotel is near Victoria Station, making it easy to walk to many London attractions. Our room was large by London standards and had a small but sufficient bath with a shower. It was comfortable, clean and quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast provided was toast and coffee and fruit, plus some prepackaged breakfast foods. It was... More

Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
