I stayed here for two nights as a base to travel to Gray's for work. Not a great hotel and left too early as breakfast is between 8-9am. Have to say it was in a good location and the bedding was clean.

I do not recommend this hotel to anyone!Beware, this might be the worst hotel in London. There are no common rooms. The room was a miniature with a plastic premade bathroom, claustrophobic and uncomfortable. There was no space for your luggage. It was very cold in the room with no heat and enough bedding. The breakfast was terrible in the basement and... More

On the plus side is the prize and very friendly owners. On the negative side: - very very tiny rooms - hot water in the shower is not always guaranteed - you can hear everything in that hotel. Next time we would spend more on a real Hotel, rather than have 3 horrible nights again. We had already the biggest... More

The breakfast was good. The stuff were very helpfull. Our room was small but the bed was ok. The hotel was clean. It is located few minuts from Victoria station. So for the price we paid I was happy. I recommend to take the train for most of the attractions. There are few restaurants nearbybut, I recommend to book a... More

I should say that we didn't actually stay here: our family of 5 turned up one day, only to discover to our horror that we had made a mistake and booked the room for the 26th November rather than October! It was entirely our fault, and yet the clerk refunded us in full, and made several phone calls to find... More

I and my husband stayed there 7 nights. Very tiny room, but price is accepatble. Very friendly staff and good breakfast. But very strange that wasn't shampoo and shower gel, only simple soap. But great location compensate all!!!! very close to tube station, trains and bus coach stations, 20 min walk to Bukhinhem palace

I booked my parents into the Surtees Hotel as their journey was taking them to Victoria Bus Station and being elderly they needed somewhere close by. They were meeting friends so really just needed a base and found themselves in some pretty horrendous weather which left them soaked to the skin. On arrival at the hotel I was so pleased... More

We stayed for two nights, friday-sunday, in a triple room with my mum and sister. The hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly. The breakfast that was included was much bigger than I expected and kept us full until lunch. I am very noise sensitive but did not have any trouble sleeping because it was very calm... More

Hotel in good location for walking to all the sites of London. Clean hotel nice staff and good price. Breakfast was enough for the price did experience some very greedy guests who cleaned out the baskets with food in I didn't see it getting replenished while they sat there. Hotel was very quiet and is non smoking. We had a... More

Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
