We chose to stay at Mandalay Picton House because it was one of very few budget options in central London and at a great location. From the very first email from one of the owners, Gary, we could tell that we were going to meet wonderfully kind and considerate hosts, and we weren't disappointed. Both brothers are extremely talkative and... More

I`ve chosen this hotel on the basis of reviews found here and I must say that it was really a good choice. Good location, very clean room, good breakfast (eggs, beans, muschrooms, cereals, toasts, bananas,...) and above all very friendly owners. Both brothers were really nice - we felt like at home and we were sad when we were leaving.... More

Our family stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. Very friendly and helpful staff, good service, and a very good hotel; Clean and nice. Good Norwegian/English breakfast. The location was perfect. 3 min walking to the tube(underground). Thank's Gary and Dwight! We come again!

When in London, I always stay at the Mandalay, I am always made to feel very welcome by Dwight, Gary and all the staff. The bedrooms are clean and comfortable, with plenty of coffee and tea on tap! The breakfast is served nice and early, leaving you to enjoy the whole day. The location of the Hotel is very quiet... More

We were a group of 13 women from all over the place, some in London for the first time and we felt very comfortable and welcome at this nice little hotel close to Paddington Station! It started with the booking that was from our side sometimes a bit chaotic but got managed in a most friendly and helpful way over... More

Many of those that stay at the hotel are however people like myself, professionals and tradesmen who regularly need to stay in London on business. At the Mandalay we are assured of a warm welcome, a good... More

This is the worst experience I have ever had in a hotel!!! It was dirty, small and not good for your health! When I came in to my room, a strong smell of a terrible perfume hit me! Its the same smell like in toilets and a perfume an old lady would wear. They spray the rooms before new gests... More
