5 minute walk to the underground. Exactly what you expect from a good 3 star. Cheap, clean and cheerful. Has quite a nice bar by the reception. It is quite pricey, but that is London for you. Does the job for a good nights sleep, you will be out all day everyday in London anyway!

Good sized room. We had a room at the top floor, nice and airy. The breakfast is wonderful, one of the best hotelbreakfasts i have had! Full English and yet fresh, smoothies, fruit, small delicious pastries. A short walk to nearset tube station, a bus stops tight outside as an option.

We stayed at the NH London Kensington for two nights in February 2016. It is ideally located for the underground, and within walking distance of the Natural History Museum and the famous shops in Brompton Road. The reception staff were very helpful, and our room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. We have stayed in various NH hotels... More

Located right near the Earls Court tube stop, the NH offered a modern, clean and spacious room. We found the hotel to have all of the facilities that you would expect of a larger hotel chain - fitness centre, bar ($$), laundry service ($$$). The staff were great - helping to charge our phones behind the counter as we had... More

This is a good hotel, situated close to Earls Court tube station, and a 5 minute stroll from Kensington High Street. The rooms as spacious, and really quite affordable for London. If you can, opt for a room at the back of the hotel (it's very quiet and you won't hear any of the traffic from Cromwell Road), however try and... More

Stayed at the NH group as we were doing a trip through Spain, this hotel was good with clean rooms. We arrived early around 8am and got straight into our room as well as left our bags for most of the day on checkout. Very helpful and would stay again.

We stayed over three nights as a family in one of the loft rooms, with no specific expectations, choice made largely on the basis of location and some favourable review. And so it was a pleasant surprise from beginning to end - friendly and polite encounter, good service and advice, very quiet and impeccably tidy room on the top floor,... More

I stayed for two nights in a room facing the rear garden. It was a relatively large room for a central London hotel and my room was quite quiet. The wifi worked well. The breakfast offered lots of choices. The hotel is located very near the Earl's Court tube station and the V&A and natural history museums. There is a... More

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
