Nice facilities in a decent hotel and well located for Earls Court tube station. Room was clean and tidy not that we spent much time in it and was large enough. Heating worked and good nights sleep were had. Bathroom well stocked and items replaced daily. The staff were helpful from check in to check out and did make us... More

Booked the NH for a 3 night stay for my 50th birthday and having stayed several times in various London hotels I was a bit disappointed with this latest stay. The hotel is just a 5 minute walk from Earls Court station and from the outside is a nice looking building so was hoping for something special. Check in was... More

Allowing an early checkin was fantastic, it helped us plan our day without multiple use of London transport system. The room was very quiet even though it was on the very busy Cromwell Road, good job on the sound proofing. Overall very impressed - we will return.

Stayed at this hotel with my husband in December. I am pregnant so we asked for a low floor and were placed in a disabled room. At approximately 6am the following morning after not such a good nights sleep I was awoken by thudding noise after a hour of being unable to sleep I got dressed and went to reception... More

Stayed in a tripe room myself and two more girls in a London girls weekend. Room was big and spacious, really only used it for sleeping. Even though it was facing the street it wasn't noisy. Hotel is right in Kensigton lovelly neighborhood surrounded by embassies and walking distance from Kensigton pk, Wholefoods and High Street Kensigton shops. Would go... More

Me and wife stayed there for 2 nights, since I had a business meeting nearby, recomended by a Portuguese friend that has a son working there.Small Hotel with a cosy atmosphere. Excelent location: Underground 5 mins walking, lots of Shops and Pubs. Wide rooms with an excelent breakfast. The service - staff - are 5 star. Strongly recommend it.

Chose this hotel mainly for the location. £140 for a couple with breakfast. Room was massive by london standards, but we ended up in a disabled room with a walk in shower etc. but it was excellent. Very clean. Mini bar, hair dryer, tea facilities, tv etc all provided. Breakfast was superb, large buffet of hot food and a great... More

There are so many hotels in London all with great location and amenities. But I just want to emphasize the friendliness of the staff at this hotel. In particular, I'd like to commend Julieta Frontini and her colleague Laura Henriquez at the breakfast buffet. They are so friendly and eager to accommodate your wishes. Julieta, in particular, has been non-stop... More

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
