Found this hidden gem thanks to a newspaper review. We stayed in a garden view for 2 nights for the FA Cup final at Wembley. The hotel is not near central London BUT is easy to get to as it is almost next to a tube station. Easy to get to Wembley by bus with the stop across the road.... More

Recently stayed here in the 'cosy' room, which was absolutely fine for just my girlfriend and I. Good service from the staff who were able to book us an extra night with very little notice and a were very forthcoming with information. We did find that the room always smelled faintly of cigarette smoke when we returned from a day... More

This is a nice boutique hotel on the outskirts of London--it does take about a 40 minute tube ride to get to any of the central tourist locations, but doable. Great continental breakfast and value. We booked the "cozy" room--99 L per night, but do yourself a favor and book a slightly bigger room for a higher rate. Our window... More

nice decoration, good service, comfortable bed and great location, except the central line was closed on weekend that u have to walk to the next station (west acton) for 8-10mins highly recommendation if u would like to stay at a boutique hotel which is out of the crowd yet convinently located. there is a good turkish kebeb right opposite to... I booked a garden view bedroom, but when I what I got was a noisy street view one. there was no kettle and although I know it is just courtesy, I don't understand why this hotel is so irregular in its service. Moreover, we forgot a expensive Northface hat when we left. We noticed it very soon, and called the... More

Stayed here booked last minute but what a great find.Room was well equipped and spacious boutique style.Mike on reception was very helpful and knowledgable of the area.Nothing seemed too much trouble.Good breakfast very nice surroundings although it was winter the gardens looked like it would be a relaxing place in the summer. I think parking could be an issue and... More

2 times I have stayed this hotel, at least reasonable offer compare to London center. Rooms are clean, but sometimes beams of the roof disturb your comfort and bit narrow for long stay. Water pressure of shower is strong enough, however difficult to adjust heat. Bed mat is too soft for me. They have Japanese restaurant in same location, and... More

Definitely recommend! Booked at very short notice and wasn't sure what to expect as the price we payed for the room was under £90. Arrived at the hotel and I was really surprised by how lovely it was, friendly staff, nice modern furnishings, very clean, lovely in house japanese restaurant and bar. It was also great to find that the... More

I have stayed at Hotel 55 several times over the last 5 years, and have never had a negative experience. Some of the rooms are smaller than others, but the complimentary Nespresso and bottled water are a touch that are increasingly rare to find in London these days (as are the good bathrooms supplies). The staff are wonderful and couldn't... More

The hotel is situated on a busy road and only has a small car-park (max 4 cars) which posed a problem on arrival. We were told to park on the Tube Station car-park (£4/day but you'll need two tickets) at check-in which wasn't our preferred option, but there was no choice. The hotel was clean and efficient on check-in, with... More
