I love this hotel and although I've reviewed it before I wanted to just say that it's always been consistently good. The rooms are lovely, my favourite is a swanky room but I've stayed in the comfy ones too. The staff are exceptional and always friendly, the breakfasts are always fresh. I would highly recommend staying at the Montagu Place.

We spent one night here and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the hotel. A beautifully converted townhouse in a very central, but quiet, location. We had the good fortune to have a room on the third floor and it is well worth negotiating the additional few stairs. The room was gorgeous, with a spacious bathroom with separate bath and shower.... An absolutely lovely small hotel. It felt personal, peaceful, and restful, despite being so central. Tucked away in a posh square opposite a mews road, it didn't feel hectic despite being so near to Baker St/Marylebone Rd. The staff were fantastic, the room was splendid, with balcony, comfortable huge bed, and gorgeous bathroom. It was spotless. Breakfast was delicious; it... More

This place is simply gorgeous. The staff are wonderful and make your stay so comfortable. The rooms are well sized and well equipped. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom and showers really nice. Breakfast is fantastic and nourishing. My only regret is that I could not stay longer. It's a 15 min walk to oxford street and really well... More

I stayed here this week for for one night. Everything was perfect, the staff couldnt have been better. The room was lovely, everything was working, lovely molton brown toiletries, nice big bath, comfy bed with plenty pillows. Well stocked tea and coffee with decaf/herbal options. Nothing was a problem for staff, I had breakfast delivered how i wanted it, to... More

Tucked away in a relatively quiet street this hotel offer excellent accomodation and service. Limited public areas but really well appointed rooms with in our case a splendid bathroom. Only 10 minutes walk away from Marylabone station with Baker Street tube even closer it makes a great base for London visitors

What they lack in facilities and size, the surely make up in professional, warm, and sincere service, which in my opinion is most important. Lobby, room, and dinner areas are clean, tidy, and well managed. Location is 10min walk from Baker Street Station, and 5min from Baker Street itself. Shops, restaurants, convenience stores are nearby.

This was my first time at the hotel and I would definitely stay again. The staff were so friendly and helpful. From the moment I checked in, they could not have done more to make my stay pleasant. Even the cleaners were friendly and helpful.

This is a terrific hotel. Beautifully appointed rooms, very helpful staff and a central location, a few minutes' walk from Bakers Street tube. The hotel is set on a quiet square in a nice part of town, but there are plenty of restaurants close by. It was perfect for a romantic break and as a base for exploring London.

Staying in Marylebone

Neighborhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
