I looked book a hotel for myself and my husband for his 40th birthday, we were staying over after an event at the SSE Arena. I read review after review on hotels trying to find a nice hotel which wasn't mega bucks (There were 2 big events at Wembley on the night we stayed so all the hotels were very... More

Stayed 30/31 May as a base for a theatre weekend... Excellent small hotel, perfect room... All staff polite and attentive, nothing a problem... A short walk into Marlebone High Street with its local shops and bars/restaurants. Also a short walk to Baker St. underground and Marylebone stations... Highly recommended hotel.

We booked on a last minute decision to have a weekend in London and couldn't have been more pleased. Lovely hotel, great service. We asked for a quiet room as we live in the country and have previously stayed in some really noisy places in London - we slept SO well in the room we were given! We will definitely... More

We chose this hotel after reading the excellent reviews on here, but I'm afraid to say it was a bit of a let down.. especially considering the price of £200 per a night not including breakfast. After one night we had to be moved from our top floor swanky room because of the floor had a serious slope on it,... More

The hotel is located great, 10min walk from the tube and many bus lines are passing by. The staff is great, super kind and helpful, the rooms are very clean, the regular are a bit small (as in any other big city center) but you get a Molton Brown products for a luxurious shower :-)

Very good location near Baker St tube. Staff could not have been more friendly. Pleasant, clean and tastefully decorated. Comfortable bed and choice of pillows and clean well appointed shower room with loo. No bath with this particular room. Only downside was street noise evident at night although we live in the countryside and so are not particularly used to... More

From the moment we enquired about booking, through to picking up our bags in the evening of the day of departure, we were treated with utmost courtesy and felt the staff genuinely cared that we enjoyed our stay - which we did very much. Everything was spotlessly clean and the quality of the furnishings was perfect.

This was an overnight stay in Marylebone, London, to both take in a show in the theatre district and then have a walk on the Sunday morning. The hotel was chosen for its convenience for the walk but actually, we also walked in both directions between the hotel and the theatre district, about 2 miles that took us about 40... More

Decided to "trade up" on a business trip to a more comfortable and therefore more expensive Hotel. Really enjoyed Montagu Place from the ease of check-in, easy staff communication and 4th floor room that was comfortable and quiet. Bed was terrific, bathroom a little small although shower was great pressure and Molten Brown products were a snippit of luxury.

Staying in Marylebone

Neighborhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
