Stayed 3 nights at this comfortable hotel in a great location. We had a "fancy" room and it was spacious, clean, and surprisingly quiet. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Only had breakfast one morning and it was fresh and a good selection. The location was perfect for us...nearby cafes and restaurants and a short walk to 3 tube stops.... More

The rooms are decent sized & clean. The location is great. Located centrally between the Marble Arch Underground stop and the Baker Underground stop, not to mention a ton of public buses. The neighborhood is quiet, safe, and clean... but a bit boring. There's clearly a ton of money around there so there isn't a ton of character, and that... More

Well situated in a quiet area. Kind and helpful staff members make you rapidly feel at home. Small but nice rooms and comfortable beds. Very few drawbacks : soundproofing between rooms could be better. No fridge in the rooms. We'll be back !

The hotel is convently located close to Baker street and Oxford street. We had a recently refurbished room and rather large by London standards. Friendly staff. Hotel is small and does not have many ameneties such as gym. Plenty of restaurants, cafes and pubs near by...

Cosy, small boutique hotel with excellent location and just amazing service. The room sizes are somewhat small, but this is compensated by the fact that they are clean and nicely furnished. Extra points for friendly and professional employees. We really liked it there and will definitely be back!

I have found my special spot in London! I decided to spend the night the London area to break up a business flight to the west coast of the US from Europe. I debated staying in a Heathrow hotel, but that seemed so lame, but there is the stress of going in and out of London, late flights, etc., would... More

I love this hotel and although I've reviewed it before I wanted to just say that it's always been consistently good. The rooms are lovely, my favourite is a swanky room but I've stayed in the comfy ones too. The staff are exceptional and always friendly, the breakfasts are always fresh. I would highly recommend staying at the Montagu Place.

We spent one night here and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the hotel. A beautifully converted townhouse in a very central, but quiet, location. We had the good fortune to have a room on the third floor and it is well worth negotiating the additional few stairs. The room was gorgeous, with a spacious bathroom with separate bath and shower.... An absolutely lovely small hotel. It felt personal, peaceful, and restful, despite being so central. Tucked away in a posh square opposite a mews road, it didn't feel hectic despite being so near to Baker St/Marylebone Rd. The staff were fantastic, the room was splendid, with balcony, comfortable huge bed, and gorgeous bathroom. It was spotless. Breakfast was delicious; it... More

This place is simply gorgeous. The staff are wonderful and make your stay so comfortable. The rooms are well sized and well equipped. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom and showers really nice. Breakfast is fantastic and nourishing. My only regret is that I could not stay longer. It's a 15 min walk to oxford street and really well... More

Staying in Marylebone

Neighborhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
