It was a very smart and attractive hostel - probably one of the nicest I've stayed in, and that's saying a lot. There's even a suit of armour halfway up the staircase! The idea of having curtains around the beds is also a great idea, though sadly for me (needing to wake up around 3am to catch a flight), the... More

I stayed in a 12 all girls dorm which was super squishy and hot but you do have a curtain which is lovely for privacy. The hostel itself was good, good breakfast and really cool, chilled bar. Had a few drinks with some of the team who were awesome, but understand the other reviews regarding uninterested receptionists - very bland... More

I'm amazed that the cleaning of the toilets were done so often. The rooms gave a very rustic feel. Wifi was very stable. Only complaint was the lockers. It looked big on the surface but was very narrow.

The reception was terrible - super loud music and superbly uninterested and blazée receptionist, I couldn't litteraly hear a word she was saying. Which annoyed her even more, and then she insisted on saying that breafkast was not included EVEN THOUGH their website said it was. Even after I told her it was no big deal, she HAD to have... More

Difficult to rate this hostel. The building itself is amazing - matches the history of London, is spacious, and really pleasant to stay in. It's quiet, safe, and in a convenient location for getting around London. The shower block is too small for the number of people and the water pressure in the shower is too low. Beds are large,... I stayed in a 21 person room. The room was quiet and the beds somewhat private. The staff were very helpful in giving us information and suggestions for our stay in London. We would definitely recommend this hostel.

We spent five nights in this hostel, sleeping in a mixed 10-bed dorm. The beds were nice, the curtains very much appreciated, and the room pretty quiet (except from some people snoring, eheh). There is not very much space for baggage and one's own stuff, but you can manage. The showers and toilets are spacious and clean, the common areas... More

this hostile had great reviews, I stayed in the biggest girl's room, I had very little space for everything. The staff dealt with me for check-in was very bad. She could not smile, and had very little words. however, the other 2 nights, they were lovely people. I wish I had book a little better room, I may have had... More

I spent 6 nights in Palmers Lodge in a 6-bed dormitory. It was a very good stay, the room and bathrooms are clean and the curtains on the bed allow some privacy. The lounge and common areas are spacious and nice. The only flaw was the kitchen being too small and not very equipped for cooking (there are only fridge... More
