We had a bit of difficult to find the hotel at first, because of the scaffold and the blue plastic tarpaulin covering the front side of the hotel. We were fortunate enough, that there were no works ongoing. (As it seemed that the scaffold had been there for a while and the work had stopped a while ago - we... More

We stayed here on a midweek night for an event in London. The hotel was in great condition, nice staff and great value for money. Breakfast was very good also. Best rooms are the 4 rooms with Balconies on the front of the hotel. I'll be back

I have to say I'm having a little trouble understanding some of the other reviews. You do not pay £5 for a remote control, you pay a deposit which you get back at the end. There are several different WiFi networks to choose from - if one stops working, you can connect to another. They clearly state at the time... More

It was very nice to stay at Belgrave House Hotel, it is close to Victoria station and located in a nice street. They were busy renovating while we were there, but there was very little noise. We were on the top floor, and the stairs were quite a workout. Overall it was a lovely stay, and we look forward to... More

The hotel is in a great location, very good restaurants nearby and 5 minutes walk from Victoria coach station. Our room was very clean. However, very unsuitable during summer in London (36 degrees celsius) as there is no air-conditioning in the room and it was very very uncomfortable. I guess during winter time, that would not be an issue.

I am glad that I only wanted a bed for one night. There is such a thing as cheap and cheerful the Belgrave House Hotel was only cheap. The stairs were dangerously narrow and the carpets frayed and threadbare certainly presenting a serious hazard under health and safety regulations. The bed was smaller than a standard single bed and the... More

Reading bad reviews I wasn't sure about the place but taking under consideration that we were going to stay for one night only, I decided to give it a go. It was a pleasant surprise as hotel room was clean and tidy, not too big but just right. We had a fridge, kettle, TV and even a little shower room... More

The carpets are ripped up with extreme tripping hazards. We were told we were being upgraded which sounded great until we were told the room was on the top floor. We had to go up many steep and narrow staircases with heavy luggage. Our bathroom was tiny (the sink was in the shower). We had no WiFi and when we... More

This is by far the worst hotel ive ever stayed in and yes i know its undergoing some renovation but that does not excuse the lack of cleanliness in fact the only saving grace was that the bed bedding and towels were clean the shower in our room was disgusting it smelt like a urinal

Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
