As has been noted on this thread, the Belgrave House Hotel is under-going renovation. This must be made clear before anyone starts complaining. I was lucky to have my room in the already-ficed-up part of the building, with nice white walls in the corridors and soft red carpets. My room was neat and clean, though the bathroom was a little... This hotel was the worst hotel I have stayed at in London. The hotel us very run down and old. The man working the front desk was not friendly or helpful. The toilet was so tiny that i had to stand outside it to brush my teeth. The shower sprayed the entire toilet. The view out my room was that... More

The hotel is really noisy, If you want to sleep a little longer then 7 am then i would not recommend this hotel, The problem is not the renovation the problem is the traffic as well as the people in above rooms. The quality is what you can expect from a budget hotel, But the rooms are clean. The shared... More

I wasn't expecting too much after reading some of the reviews for this place. It is dated and worn in a lot of places with the odd hole in the ceiling! But it is not dirty and my room was basic but fit for purpose. I stayed in a one bedroom room with shared bathroom and for £95 for two... More

Belgrave House Hotel is a nice, small hotel close to the Buckingham Palace and Hyde Park. It suited us, because we needed to be close to Victoria train and coach station (just 5 minutes walking from there). Our room was a bit small but cosy and clean. There was a bathroom in it, which was very good for us. The... More

Yes it is outdated. Yes the place could use a makeover and some maintenance. Do not stay here if you expect a luxurious bathroom. But the room i stayed in was clean. The check in was hospitable. The location is very near victoria station. London standards are strange. Even quite expensive hotels can be a great dissapointment. For 35 ponds... More

basic isn't the word for this hotel, I have seen better squats. The Bedding was clean and tidy and the location is good but, that's where the good points end. The hotel is more run down than a flat hedgehog , carpets with holes laminate flooring with chunks missing and paint peeling off most of the walls.. On booking we... More

The hotel was horrible, like a run down squat, it's a place where you wipe your feet on the way out. £99 a night with no breakfast, no faculties to make a drink in your room, you have to give £20 for a security deposit and if you want the TV on you must pay a further £5 deposit. I'm... More

Really great location (5-10 min walk to Victoria Station) and can't complain for the price. It was a very small room but we were only there for one night during a layover and the location made up for any faults with the room itself. It was quiet and very very clean (the bathroom was practically sparkling). There were a number... More

Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
