Belgrave House Hotel is a nice, small hotel close to the Buckingham Palace and Hyde Park. It suited us, because we needed to be close to Victoria train and coach station (just 5 minutes walking from there). Our room was a bit small but cosy and clean. There was a bathroom in it, which was very good for us. The... More

Yes it is outdated. Yes the place could use a makeover and some maintenance. Do not stay here if you expect a luxurious bathroom. But the room i stayed in was clean. The check in was hospitable. The location is very near victoria station. London standards are strange. Even quite expensive hotels can be a great dissapointment. For 35 ponds... More

basic isn't the word for this hotel, I have seen better squats. The Bedding was clean and tidy and the location is good but, that's where the good points end. The hotel is more run down than a flat hedgehog , carpets with holes laminate flooring with chunks missing and paint peeling off most of the walls.. On booking we... More

The hotel was horrible, like a run down squat, it's a place where you wipe your feet on the way out. £99 a night with no breakfast, no faculties to make a drink in your room, you have to give £20 for a security deposit and if you want the TV on you must pay a further £5 deposit. I'm... More

Really great location (5-10 min walk to Victoria Station) and can't complain for the price. It was a very small room but we were only there for one night during a layover and the location made up for any faults with the room itself. It was quiet and very very clean (the bathroom was practically sparkling). There were a number... More

This hotel is situated in such a great place About a 10 minute walk from Victoria train station The hotel was easy to find. And cheap The reception area was clean and tidy Was a little award to check in as the card I booked with was destroyed and they where struggling to understand that I had a new card.... More

The reception area is nice and staff friendly, but beyond that expect threadbare/stained carpets and hostel like accommodations. My room was clean, but rather squalid. Peeling paint, stained sinks, well used furniture, worn and stained toilet seats (come on owners, fork out £10 for a new toilet seat). On the plus side location is good (short walk from Victoria station... More

I stayed in Belgrave House Hotel for 3 nights in single room. The hotel is nearby of Victoria Station, you can buy everything what you need around the hotel (Sainsbury´s, Tesco, Boots, etc.) It was cold in my room and I asked for extra blanket - everything what I wanted they gave me. I wanted to have a quiet room... More

Staff were polite and checked us in quickly, very large room which was clean but very very basic. We only wanted the room to sleep in and shower anyway but I was surprised to find the en suite was what can only be described as a caravan bathroom added into one corner of the room. I couldn't work out how... More

Simply avoid ... Awful. Bad room. Very basic and tired. Like a squat. Hotel tries to get deposits for everything on top of room rate. Even a remote control for the TV for £5! Unbelievable. So many better hotels near by.

Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
