As a wizzened old traveller, and ex military to boot, I do not frequent the 5 star upper end of the hotel trade. Before booking into the BHH, I read the reviews. I booked on line, and was fortunate to get a really cracking good rate for three nights. I arrived, walking from Victoria, as one can in 5 -... More

I didn't expect much as I read some really terrible reviews but I must admit it wasn't bad at all. The hotel needs renovation, there's no doubt about it but it has many advantages (not only the price) that make a short stay in London easier. It is situated in the heart of the city, in a quiet street close... More

I've read a lot of recomendations about this hotel. But anyway i went. It was good location. I was afraid to live in Stradford where are a lot of cheep accomodations but this area also is known as getto. I had breakfast. Nothing special but helpful. Several cereals, yogurts, coffee, tea and toast with jam. The building view from the... More

My husband liked this hotel much more than I did. I feel like here you get what you pay for. The location is really great, very close to a Tube station, and there's a few great restaurants in the area. While the bathroom was out in the hallway, at least we had a shower in our room. The bathroom looks... More

I needed to be close to Victoria station so location was important, and this one is perfect. Close to the railway, underground and coach stations, all within a 5 -10 minute walk. To be honest I wasn't expecting much having read reports and reviews on this forum. Checking in was simple everything was ready, I had booked a single room... More

You walk into the hotel and the reception looks lovely. Go past the reception and the carpet is all worn and tatty, walls dirty and cracks everywhere. I booked a room for me and my daughter. Online the rooms they look a descent size however myself and my daughter had to share a lumpy single bed, in a mouldy vile... More

For the price, this is a great choice. We were really worried after reading a few reviews but chanced it regardless. The room was clean, warm & comfortable. The bathroom was dirty & the hotel could improve by cleaning it regularly. The room has a shower & a sink. The location is excellent. A few minutes from the tube, train... More

The hotel is very cute and it's near Victoria station. The receptionists were very polite. Our room was on the last floor and, as I have problems with my knees, It was kind of hard to go up and down the small stairs. The room was quite a small and comfortable flat. It was also equipped with a kitchen. The... More

Stayed there 4 nights with my boyfriend. Hotel looks nice from the outside, and reception looks nice and newly refurbished. However, the building is old and in poor condition. There was carpet over the stairs and halls. The carpet was old and had holes in it. We had booked an en suite double room and got room number 317. The... More

Location was great and very close to all amenities including Victoria Station. The free Wifi was great and also staff were very friendly and helpful. Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
