This hotel is situated in such a great place About a 10 minute walk from Victoria train station The hotel was easy to find. And cheap The reception area was clean and tidy Was a little award to check in as the card I booked with was destroyed and they where struggling to understand that I had a new card.... More

The reception area is nice and staff friendly, but beyond that expect threadbare/stained carpets and hostel like accommodations. My room was clean, but rather squalid. Peeling paint, stained sinks, well used furniture, worn and stained toilet seats (come on owners, fork out £10 for a new toilet seat). On the plus side location is good (short walk from Victoria station... More

I stayed in Belgrave House Hotel for 3 nights in single room. The hotel is nearby of Victoria Station, you can buy everything what you need around the hotel (Sainsbury´s, Tesco, Boots, etc.) It was cold in my room and I asked for extra blanket - everything what I wanted they gave me. I wanted to have a quiet room... More

Staff were polite and checked us in quickly, very large room which was clean but very very basic. We only wanted the room to sleep in and shower anyway but I was surprised to find the en suite was what can only be described as a caravan bathroom added into one corner of the room. I couldn't work out how... More

Simply avoid ... Awful. Bad room. Very basic and tired. Like a squat. Hotel tries to get deposits for everything on top of room rate. Even a remote control for the TV for £5! Unbelievable. So many better hotels near by.

We chose the hotel purely for its location close to Victoria Station as we had an early morning train to catch, and its affordability. It worked well for both these reasons. The room was in good condition and had sink, kettle, microwave & hotplate, bar fridge, as well as utensils for 2, which was a nice surprise. Tea and coffee... More

As a wizzened old traveller, and ex military to boot, I do not frequent the 5 star upper end of the hotel trade. Before booking into the BHH, I read the reviews. I booked on line, and was fortunate to get a really cracking good rate for three nights. I arrived, walking from Victoria, as one can in 5 -... More

I didn't expect much as I read some really terrible reviews but I must admit it wasn't bad at all. The hotel needs renovation, there's no doubt about it but it has many advantages (not only the price) that make a short stay in London easier. It is situated in the heart of the city, in a quiet street close... More

I've read a lot of recomendations about this hotel. But anyway i went. It was good location. I was afraid to live in Stradford where are a lot of cheep accomodations but this area also is known as getto. I had breakfast. Nothing special but helpful. Several cereals, yogurts, coffee, tea and toast with jam. The building view from the... More

My husband liked this hotel much more than I did. I feel like here you get what you pay for. The location is really great, very close to a Tube station, and there's a few great restaurants in the area. While the bathroom was out in the hallway, at least we had a shower in our room. The bathroom looks... More

Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
