This is definitely for students backpackers. We had concerns about safety after someone kept knocking on our door in the early hours of the morning wonder what the staff were doing. Area was good would never stay here again. Pictures not like the real thing promised washing machine none and no free internet. Over priced for what u got.

As I'm staying in London for an extended amount of time, I was looking for a reasonably priced hotel/flat with a kitchen. I was happy enough with what I paid but was then shocked at what I was receiving for my money. The building itself is charming and quite full of character but it's also rather run down. You won't... Perfect location next to South Kensington and Sloane Square tube. Really easy for Heathrow airport and a lovely neighbourhood in Chelsea. Check in was quick and polite. The apartment clean and nice having the kitchen and washer dryer. Toiletries were also provided. Will be staying next time too

I stayed in Chelsea cloisters in the 1990's so it always had a special charm for me. Over the years I have stayed in many other hotels and serviced apartments in London but thought I should show the family where and how I used to live. Firstly, the doorman seems to have gone. You are pretty much on your own... More

We stayed in a one bedroom apartment for a week. The location is great and the staff were very helpful and courteous. The room was small but clean and could do with some refurbishments especially the bathroom. The 360 bus was very helpful to get to Sloane Square or South Kensington stations. The Sainsburys next door was very helpful. I... More

Where shall I start? From Victorian windows with drafts and not soundproof, overlooking the busy street? The tent dirty that should (should, but does not), try to shield the light at 5 am? From the frying pan to cook a steak asked for two weeks (TWO WEEKS!) and never received? By growths of mold on the walls? From furniture nonexistent?... More

I booked a stay at this hotel/extended stay apartment through priceline.com because I got a good rate and figured with 3 stars it would be a relatively nice place. My first impression was generally positive. It is located in a great really safe neighborhood that I felt completely comfortable walking around by myself at night in. The room was small... More

booked with booking.com i was happy with location and photos of the hotel. The day of my arrival came, an hour before i was to check inn i had a call from the hotels reception saying they could not accommodate me any more due to an electrical fault. 3 of my colleagues turned up at hotel to then be sent... Had a really bad stay here as i visited during the hottest part of the year. The place has no Air conditioning and they managed a spare table fan only a couple of days into my 6 night stay there. The rooms and washrooms are horrendously small and a lot of the rooms have their windows opening into the apartment... More

I was upgraded to a larger room and had a lot of space all to myself (much more than I usual would in central London) but the rooms were not great, lots of peeling paint, cracked tiles, a broken toilet seat and nasty laminate flooring. I've stayed in other apartments in London for about the same price but the quality... More

Staying in Chelsea

Neighborhood Profile
Chelsea
Wealth courses through The King's Road, Chelsea's upmarket artery of West London life packed with shops, eateries and glitzy nightspots. For people-watching at its best and luxury retail therapy that's largely unrivalled, this area cannot be missed. But if this showy street starts to overwhelm or a moment of price tag shock sends you reeling, a quick detour down pretty much any of many King's Road veins will reveal a quieter side of Chelsea. Here the stately Royal Hospital hosts its world-famous flower show, and the Thames rolls along at a lazy pace, with leafy Battersea Park and its Peace Pagoda beckoning from across the river.
