We stayed at the Rose & Crown on a recent visit to our daughter & family as they already had a house guest. We didn't expect much as the cost was so reasonable but were prepared to "slum it" to attend our grandson's 3rd birthday party. What a pleasant experience was in store. I arrived alone with a broken wrist... More

Stayed here as close to center of Wimbledon where daughter is living. It looks like a standard pub from outside but it has a few good rooms and a car park. I have previously stayed in the HI in south Wimbledon(Colliers Wood) and also the Fox and Grapes in Wimbledon but this place was a good find. Booked online on... More

We stayed at The Rose and Crown in Wimbledon for one night as we attended a party in the area and although we didn't expect a lot, we were pleasantly surprised by the standard of the accommodation. It's clean, comfortable, got nice staff and it's in a very central location. The pub is busy and noisy but the rooms are... More

I stayed at the Rose and Crown for 3 nights after spending a week in central London at an upper end hotel. I have to say I preferred the Rose and Crown. A much nicer environment. More comfortable and relaxed. The staff was extremely helpful at all times. The rooms were great. Highly recommend it and I will definitely stay... More

Have just returned from a 2 night stay at the Rose & Crown. We were attending the London 2012 tennis at Wimbledon. We were really pleased with our choice of accommodation. It was only about 10 minutes walk from the Wimbledon venue itself so it was great not having to travel much on the day of the event, with London... More

Stayed July 6th & 7th managing to get tickets for the mens semis at Wimbledon. Nice location for the tennis. Pub always busy which only adds to the atmosphere. Rooms, yes a bit pricey, because of Wimbledon but who doesn't take advantage of events in the area no matter where you go. Would not hesitate to stay again if in the area.Nice... More

Stayed here for the second time during the final weekend of Wimbledon fortnight. I really like it. Most chilled check in ever. The pub is a great mix of old and new, The rooms are clean and comfy. Breakfast is fine with friendly layed back staff. Yes it is a bit pricey whilst the Tennis is on but the convinience... More

Pricey, mixed crowd, plastic cups, poor pint, nice layout, bus stops right outside (93 to Putney bridge), can drink out the front and in the garden

What a wonderful traditional pub in the heart of Wimbledon Village, excelent food & great beer all in front of a roaring fire (which was still needed with the horrid May weather) The hotel was also lovely, warm greeting at reception, quiet, comfy room & a fantastic breakfast on departure, well worth the £145 we paid

This was my first time to Wimbledon Village (one week for work in January 2012) and I was not sure what to expect when I was told we would be staying in an inn above a pub. We requested the top floor for fear of noise and they were very accomodating and met our requests. But I think even on... More
