We stayed at this pub during the second week of Wimbledon fortnight, having previously stayed there about 6 years ago. We enjoyed everything about it - our room was beautiful with everything we needed (about 20 tea bags provided!), and despite the accommodation being over a pub, once you walk through the secure double doors into the hotel side, silence... stayed 3 days for wimbledon tennis visit, so no parking as they have a marquee in the car park. Bedrooms were very clean and comfortable with sky tv etc,ask for a room on ground floor because stairs are quite steep for those with walking difficulties. Breakfast was exellent, we had one evening meal and this too was first class.Very busy... More

Stayed for three nights and a great stay it was............excellent accomodation, professional staff, good food. The dinner menu was conservative but it was so consistently good that we dined in each night. Highly recommended.

We stayed here for a wedding in Wimbledon. The location is prefect, right in the middle of Wimbledon Village, with cafes and restaurants all around. There is parking exclusively for hotel guests, except for during the tennis fortnight. This is also a busy pub but the hotel section is securely separate. Our twin room was clean, comfortable and spacious. We... More

The location of the hotel is amazing for a relaxed break which is still close to heaps of bars and restaurants plus great shopping. We have stayed there 5 or 6 times over the years from one night to a week. We never tire of the place and the amazing breakfasts alone would pull us back. Great pub as well... More

The breakfast is one of the best I have eaten the Full english, eggs benedict and the smoked salmon muffins were to die for! The decor to the room was very modern and the beds really comfy. The staff were friendly and easy to chat to.

If you know Youngs Hotels then you know what to expect and this one does not disappoint. Good sized clean rooms and hearty breakfast. The pub food is standard Youngs pub fare - quite acceptable. The pub itself is very characteristic and has some interesting local history. The beer is very very good. Parking available for residents.

The Rose and Crown is a popular pub which also has rooms. A large bar round three sides of the counter provides a friendly environment to enjoy a wide range of drinks. The restaurant (booking a good idea in the evening; but avoid Tuesday Quiz Nights) has a good variety of food o f(generally) pretty got quality (try the sausage... More

I have stayed at the the Rose & Crown a few times since last reviewed in Oct 2012. Daughter lives in Wimbledon so if work takes me to London I try and stay here so I can take daughter out for a meal and a catchup. The cost included Breakfast, parking and free wifi. It has a small barrier controlled... More
