I stayed at the Rose and Crown for one night in October as I had an appointment at the nearby Parkside Hospital. I was on my own but I had a twin room, Room 8. It was very spacious with comfortable beds. I had a great sleep here, which I don't usually in hotels. Even though this is rooms over... More

Stayed here for one night in August I was travelling from the south of france so had driven through the night. Arrived a few hours before check in but the two ladies at the desk were the nicest ladies ive bet. Made sure our room was prepared first as the previous occupant had checked out and we got in at... I was a bit hesitant about staying above a pub before I arrived so I was really pleasantly surprised when we arrived. There is free parking (not many spaces) and the location is excellent, right in the heart of Wimbledon village so perfect for shopping. We stayed in room 14 which is on the top floor so the furthest from... More

My daughter lives in Wimbledon so when work takes me to London I try and stay here so I can have dinner and a catchup with my first born child. The rooms are always clean and tidy. Free Wifi which is usually more than adequate for document e-mails etc. There is a small free for residents car park and I... More

Stayed at the RC for two weeks only going home at weekends working in the local area .. Great location, although can be a bit pricy if you don't travel We ventured down the hill into Wimbledon for drinks and foods as we found this a little cheaper, however we did have some lovely meals when we were to tired... The positives: Excellent location - lots of nice shops, restaurants etc within walking distance. Free car parking for residents. Friendly, helpful staff. Lovely atmosphere in bar. Nice room. Good towels. Sky TV channels. Free Wifi. Good food (dinner & breakfast), reasonably priced menu (dinner). The negatives: Uncomfortable bed, soft mattress, rubbish pillows & squeaky headboard. Lots of noise when trying... More

We stayed at this pub during the second week of Wimbledon fortnight, having previously stayed there about 6 years ago. We enjoyed everything about it - our room was beautiful with everything we needed (about 20 tea bags provided!), and despite the accommodation being over a pub, once you walk through the secure double doors into the hotel side, silence... stayed 3 days for wimbledon tennis visit, so no parking as they have a marquee in the car park. Bedrooms were very clean and comfortable with sky tv etc,ask for a room on ground floor because stairs are quite steep for those with walking difficulties. Breakfast was exellent, we had one evening meal and this too was first class.Very busy... More
