Have stayed at this hotel several times. Was disappointed that the sheets in my bed were stained noticed on the last day while I was making sure we were not forgetting anything. Was very disappointed. Very expensive hotel expected more. The staff was very nice, but to be expected in the type of hotel, I would stay again because my... More

My wife and I stayed here for the weekend. We had a lovely time. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was super. We took advantage of the pool after a long day in London. Wounderful. The room was spacious and spotless. Thank you for a lovely weekend stay.. Well done to all the hard working staff.

I spent 3 nights on a business trip.Very warm & friendly staff . Comfortable and silent rooms. The tea coffee making facility was great, very comfortable bed and very good shower and bath tub. I asked for a room change and they did it within 10Min , that is great customer service. Breakfast was average. The buffet looked an after... More

the location of this hotel is good if you want to be in the st. paul's area but not great from a tourist perspective. it is modern and clean but lacking in charm. it's primarily a business hotel so if you're looking for a quaint and memorable hotel, this isn't it.

Following an excellent evening out in London we arrived back at this five star hotel to have a night cap in the bar. The bar was quite busy and in a mess many tables not cleared of glasses or food, bar service was very slow and bar staff did not seem to want to be there. Our room was on... More

A very good hotel a 'stones throw' from St Pauls. We asked for a room with a view of St Pauls - which we got. The hotel is very modern and contemporary in its decoration. Everything from the huge fresh flower arrangement as you enter to the massive glass atrium flooded with light makes you realise that you are in... More

This hotel is in a very good location both from a business and tourist perspective, although it is really primarily a business hotel. The room allocated was said to be a quiet one, but the hotel is so close to St Paul's, although tucked away down a side street, that it is impossible not to hear the bells of St... More

This hotel ticked all the boxes, comfortable, friendly staff, efficient and a goid atmosphere. We stayed here for a weekend break so the price was right as we didn't have to pay business rates. Whilst slightly outside they normal tourist areas access was simple as it is close to the Central line and the locations also allowed us to visit... More

Celebrating our Wedding Anniversary with a visit to London for an operatic supper. The hotel provided us with complimentary cupcakes. The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The bathroom and the shower with fantastic water pressure was sublime. The room however was a little on the cold side and no obvious way to increase the temperature apart from turning... More

An extremely modern hotel with excellent restaurant, bar and spa with pool. Its close to many local attractions (mostly walkable) so getting around is not a problem. Room size acceptable with a very comfortable bed. I would definitely stay at this hotel again and would not hesitate in recommending.

Staying in City of London

Neighborhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighborhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighborhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
