Was staying at the hotel which is one of my favourite hotels in the City and had the uplifting facial in the Ajala spa attached to the hotel. It was simply the best facial I have ever had and I have facials in similar spas regularly. The whole ambiance of the place and sheer quality of experience was wonderful. I... More

I've previously stayed in the Grange Holborn and the Grange City hotels, and found them to be excellent. This was my first visit to the Grange St Paul's, which seems quite new, and I was hugely impressed. The location is terrific, literally in sight of St Paul's cathedral, and a short walk to the Thames Path. I enjoyed getting up... More

Location of the hotel was fantastic. St. Paul's being my favourite place in London it was ideal. Hotel staff are very friendly and help you with anything you require. Hotel is very big and the glass effect throughout gives it a nice effect. Room was very comftable, clean and had a really good shower. Only bad thing was check out... More

Stayed here whilst on a conference trip. In general I found the staff great ambassadors for the hotel - professional, pleasant and keen to help. The room was fine - without being anything special. Breakfast caused some frustrations and it's these small issues that stick in your mind and, I guess, affect the overall experience. I had similar experiences to... More

I have stayed in this hotel a few years ago and it was much the same. I picked it for its location which is perfect for the city. Great location, but shame that despite me staying 8 nights they could not provide me with a room that offered any type of view. I was first offered a disabled room, which... More

I had previously stayed at the hotel 3 years before and had a great stay. Unfortunately it did not match up this time around. The breakfast service was poor at best. You are served tea and coffee by waiters but this took over 20 minutes as no-one wanted to take responsibility for replenishing stocks. The phrase headless chickens springs to... More

booked this hotel primarily because of the gym and pool. Gym is very well equipped with new equipment. The pool was disappointing and how cold it was. It was just simply too cold to go for a swim. the hotel was excellent and the rooms were outstanding

We have stayed here on a number of occasions and have regularly recommended to friends. Sadly on this occasion there were a number of issues which left us feeling disappointed. We were very late in getting access to our room with the reception staff poorly managing our expectations promising access in 10 mins then 30 mins then 10 mins and... More

Location, location, location is what they say. However, there are hotels that forget that this is not enough. The Grange is not one of them. It is a quite well-appointed, modern hotel that offers much in terms of quality, in addition to its great setting. The rooms are good, the restaurant fine and the spa worth a visit. If you... More

A truly first class Hotel with all the genuine service you'd expect, particularly in the City of London. Service levels were excellent and quite frankly the only issue we would take up was the price of wine by the glass in the bars, that's all ! We will return without doubt, well done, keep up your very high standards.

Staying in City of London

Neighborhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighborhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighborhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
