Superb hotel in a great central location, convenient for the tube and central London. Great service at check-in and breakfast. Rooms are immaculately presented, spacious and comfortable. Would appreciate a compliamentry bottle of mineral water in the rooms given how bad London tap water tastes.

Stayed here for a combination of business and pleasure. Great location close to St Paul's, walking distance to plenty of interesting areas - Southwark, Smithfield, etc. Smooth check in, friendly staff, I arrived on an early morning flight but was able to check in early which was appreciated. Very large room by London standards, wifi included. Comfortable bed and sky... More

Great civilised hen Spa weekend. Every aspect of the visit was excellent. Would highly recommend. Spa was clean, relaxing and contemporary. Treatments received were excellent. Rooms were luxurious and spotlessly clean. Was impressed with the climate control air conditioning. Breakfast although continental, was superb and probably better then the full English breakfast which required a supplement. Service. Truly 5 star... More

I stayed here just a few days ago for 2 nights and left knowing that I don't expect to return here on my own will. Positives: convenient location to stations and many restaurants, clean and in a safe area. Negatives: I didn't see any information while I was booking that I was placed in another one of Grange St. Paul's... More

The location is good, you can find the hotel after a minute of walk from a tube station. Service wasn't very amazing, especially at front desk. The receptionist seemed a little bit tired and was trying to fake a smile. Room and bath are clean and spacious. We could sleep well without disturbing noises, because the room faced to a... More

Had a fantastic stay at the Grange St. Paul's recently. The rooms are massive (for European standards) and come with many amenities. Bathrooms have both a shower and a tub, and there is free wifi for guests. Beds were very comfortable, and everything was spotless. The hotel itself has several dining/drinking options inside, and the area surrounding offers even more... More

This is a very convenient hotel for businessmen. The location is excellent, the rooms are a reasonable size by London standards and check in swift and straightforward. There are things which grate though, being charged £2.50 for a newspaper which costs half that, the bed is a bit hard. The worst area though is the bathroom with a pitiful shower set... More

My partner treated me to a birthday trip to London from 9th to 12th April. This is the fifth or sixth time we have stayed at Grange St. Pauls. It's a great location: fairly quiet, close to shops and restaurants and only a 20 minute walk to Covent Garden. There are also a couple of tube stations nearby. Our check-in... More

Have stayed in this hotel on a number of occasions and have also attended a seminar. Excellent. The rooms are well appointed and large, and the views of St Pauls are fantastic. Although a lot of the rooms look out onto other buildings, the blinds and curtains are excellent. The bathrooms are well lit, although the bath is over the... More

Staying in City of London

Neighborhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighborhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighborhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
