Great location literally steps from the cathedral and walking distance to both St. Paul's and Bank stations. As a business hotel it can't be faulted rooms were spacious clean and well appointed. Gym facilities and the pool were first rate good range of equipment and friendly helpful staff. My only bugbear was the lack of water in the room not... More

I have stayed here twice and oddly got the same room each time. I always arrive very early around 6 am coming in from the far east, and naturally the room isn't ready. Check in the first time was not possible until around 4pm - slightly better the second time around 2pm. They allowed me to use their lovely spa/gym... More

Nice hotel, clean and modern. I was on the 5th floor overlooking the atrium. Lovely room and nice staff. Central location...... But Don't expect a good nights steep, shame about the loud music from the function suite 7 floors below, so loud , kept me awake, must have made them all deaf!!

my partner and I stayed here pre Christmas and were very pleased. The hotel was very busy and there was some queuing but that was to be expected for the time of year. The room did not disappoint it was spacious and very clean. The location was a bit quieter than expected but the tube station was very close. We... More

Stunning hotel. Staff were very efficient and helpful. Lovely room which was clean and a great size. We had a bath and a separate shower which seems to be very rare nowadays. Concierge were very helpful with getting taxis and leaving our luggage on departure. I would defiantly stop here again!

I stayed here for two stints interrupted by a weekend. This first week was on the 4th floor across from their absolutely ugly light pillar. Having to have your curtains closed the whole time did not meet my approval. The second week I received a corner room on the 5th floor that was great. Would have appreciated more electric power... We booked this hotel for a weekend visit through a secret hotel website and so did not know what to expect. We were really pleased when we arrived, it is a really nice hotel with very helpful staff and very close to local amenities and transport links. The room was very big and very good quality with a large bathroom,... More

Situated next to St. Paul's Cathedral, the Grange offers e great City of London location. As a business hotel it does what it should, that's enough. But the hotel tries much more - however the decor, the glass, the service and the atmosphere just doesn't do it for me - it becomes too sterile, the dining area too empty and... More

The hotel is nothing spectacular, but has all necessary facilities for business travelers - good location, nice meeting space. Location is great - just next to St. Paul's cathedral, bus stop is just next to the hotel and gives an easy access to all sightseeings and the City. The only point to consider is breakfast - cereal selection was not... More

We've stayed at this hotel a number of times. Very nice rooms. with good facilities e.g. shower/bath and mini bar. The hotel is ideal if your planning to vist the west end of London and out of the way enough for a quiet nights sleep. The hotel has a spa and swimming pool which are planning to use on our... More

Staying in City of London

Neighborhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighborhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighborhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
