After other plans cancelled I needed a last minute hotel with internet access. I was referred here by a hotel booking office at St Pancras Station. The room was tiny, had a single ceiling light. There was a ceiling fan, but it wasnt very effective. They had told me they had internet wi-fi for a charge, but the signal was... More

We booked two rooms at the Grange Blooms Hotel, based on the reviews it received on TripAdvisor. When we arrived, we were told that our reservation was next door, at the Grange Whitehall. This seemed OK until we returned home and found out that the room rates at the Whitehall are less than the Blooms, yet we were charged the... More

I Sttayed at he Grange Blooms Hotel for two nights May 9&10th 2010. On arrival it appeared to be a very beautiful georgian house which (in my opinion) highlights some of the natural history of London. The hotel was clean the staff were friendly, although some of them were not able to understand English. (without Predjudice). The room allocated on... More

Emergency stay on way home refugee from volcanic dust problem. hotel booked by daughter as a "Bloomsbury gem" £95. Hotel Quiet and bed, 4 poster, very comfotable. Free fruit in room. Told breakfast expensive so wandered round to British Museum (2 minutes) and had coffee and a croissant in the great court.

Us two parents and 12 year old daughter shared a spacious room and bathroom very comfortably. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Rate we got on line was good but included breakfast only one of the mornings. To add breakfast the other morning would have been over £17 each more than we spent on dinner the two evenings! definitely not worth... More

I stayed here for 2 nights on a weekend theatre break and chose this hotel because of the price and location. The room was nice and comfortable and the hotel was very clean yet very small. Breakfast was ridiculously over-priced but continental was included in our room rate and consisted of cereals, toast, pastries, meat, cheese, fruit, yogurt, juice and... More

We found a great hotel in the Bloomsbury section of London, close to the British Museum. It had exceptionally large rooms and nice bathrooms. Breakfast was very ample, a buffet of cheeses, meats, loads of fruits, cereals, pastries, beverages, served as early as 7 am. The front office staff offered us helpful tips on airport transportation and restaurant recommendations. And... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
