The check in was not very welcoming. Just barely a 'hello' then nothing at all when I was completing the form. Too bad because the lobby are with a desk to sit down was pleasant. The room I had was small - expected in London - but the bathroom was really small and needed some serious updating. The shower head... More

Stayed for one night at Grange Blooms hotel after a night at the theatre. We were upgraded to a themed suite. The bed was huge and extremely comfortable, slept like a baby! The room was full of charming items and felt very at home there. The staff were very friendly and helpful. For a location so close to the hussle... More

Just returned from 5 nights at the Grange Blooms hotel. Location was just pefect, one minute walk from the british musium and 5 minutes from Russel station. Nice warm rooms, same as you see on the photos. Exellent service, very helpfull staff, free wifi and very good breakfast. Just perfect, exactlly what we needed for a great London vacation.

Stayed three nights in December. Small Hotel in a quaint side road so minimal noise from passing traffic. Friendly and accommodating. Clean rooms and a good size for London. Had a slight issue ith our room but think it was more a booking agents fault. It was dealt with satisfactorily by the hotel and with minimum fuss. Overall the stay... More

Sudden invitation to join my sister already staying at the hotel for one night , and a night of exploring the seven dials area and Covent Garden and enjoy the Christmas lights. Following a little confusion about the room pricing ranging from £106 to £270 for the same room one hoped for a room of some note . Pleasant but... More

After reading the reviews I was a bit worried, however, the room I stayed in was spacious, the bathroom was nice and big, and overall I had a much better experience than the last few hotels I stayed in London, not to mention the location. I stayed in room 002, not sure if all rooms are alike.

We spent two nights there in late September this year. After arriving on the tube at Russell Square station we had an eight minute walk to this hotel. Most of this walk was through Russell Square garden, an enjoyable area with a fountain and a number of friendly squirrels. The receptionist, Varvara, was very pleasant and professional and made us... We stayed here for two nights as we were going to the theatre one night and a posh restaurant the other. On the plus side, the location of this little hotel is good. We were able to walk to most of the restaurants and the theatre we visited. It is behind the British Museum which was good as we had... More

I stayed here for a couple of nights on business in July 2015. Found it ok. A little far from transport but right beside the British Museum and within 15 mins walk of Covent Garden. The room was pretty basic but ok. I got an upgrade seemingly. I wouldn't have liked to have seen my original room. Like a lot... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
