Even with good location I want to sleep without noises from corridor and street. Even the drain inside the wall kept noise loud as standing in the heavy rain. Hard to understand good reviews of this Hotel.

300 yards from St Pancras - ideal for a 7am Eurostar... But I'd rather have got up an hour earlier and walked the distance. Our room was literally 10 feet square - really, it was - and it was incredibly awkward with us both in there, let alone with both smallish suitcases. It was hilarious for all of 30 seconds.... More

It was the best location we could hope for,in the given price. We had to travel by train ,almost everyday, and it was just across the street from kings cross station, and few minutes walk from st.pancras and euston. Also, there are loads of indian restuarents ,around the area , some really good ones. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms... More

Minuscule rooms but the location is perfect for transportation, the rooms are clean, the staff is helpful and friendly, there are lots of pubs and restaurants in the area, and the price is fine (for London!). I would certainly plan on staying here again.

Perfect location for getting to Eurostar terminal. Nice clean room and bathroom, rather small but comfortable. Staff were happy to carry my suitcase up to the top floor and down again when asked. I was disappointed to find that a surcharge was levied to pay by credit card.

I stayed here for 3 nights, we had booked the "Double Superior Deluxe Bedroom" thinking that it would be a good size with a nice bathroom, however we received a "Standard Double". Photos looked lovely and the price was reasonable. We arrived and were told we would be on the top floor, reached our room which was practically in the... More

We used this hotel purely as a cheap base to visit the main sights of London, which worked well. Whilst the hotel entrance looks very plush, the rooms do not stand up to comparison, not that we expected them to!! But room was very small, also, the sash cjord window was jammed fully open and wouldn't close... good job it... More

Where do I begin?? .. I've stayed in a good amount of hotels, b&b, etc. And this is by far the worst. FACT. The first room we went into wasnt clean. Bed was messy, wet towels on the bed, and the window was wide open to try and get the smell of weed out. Yes. The room stunk of weed.... More

My stay in the Excelsior Hotel is actually one of the main reasons I disliked London so much. I arrived at the hotel at about half 8 in the morning to check in and to leave my bags. I was welcomed by a friendly staff member who told me that my room would be ready by 1 o clock which... More
