We stayed here for an event at Excel along with dozens of others. They were unable to cope with huge numbers and kept making excuses that they were full to capacity. Good - close to London City Airport for early morning flight, 10 minute brisk walk away. Down side, feels old and tire and could use some paint and refurb. I know its a Travelodge and that means affordable but it doesn't have to mean peeling wall paper and a feeling that costs are seriously cut. Staff however were very friendly.

I stayed in this hotel for the walking distance to ExCeL which we were exhibiting at. The hotel location is perfect and the parking very inexpensive. The rooms however are very low cost, basic and fairly modern. Surprisingly the beds were comfortable! This is good for a short stop, not good for a long stay.

We stayed here the 24th April. I wasn't expecting a lot at the price that we paid but it was a huge surprise. The staff were friendly from check in to check out. It was great.
