Feared for my life. My friend booked this hotel for my birthday as we were going to a concert and just needed somewhere to stay after. We are early 20's and have stayed in many low budget hotels/hostels so its rare we turn our noses up and I never usually write reviews. HOWEVER this was just next level. The place... More

This was the worst "hotel"that I have ever stayed in , carpets were held together with tape , you actually stick to the carpet if you stand still , the place smells like a mouldy old house, that is giving some credit because you cannot use swear words to describe how bad it is , it is a sh hole

My colleague and I stayed here May 2015 for 2 nights as we were working a few miles away and it came up on the Trivago website. The room stank of cheap washing powder, was well overdue a lick of paint and had fag ash all around the window. The bar was huge with three people in when we arrived.... More

It was honestly a nightmare of a night. The bar was blasting music until at least 3am, which vibrates the entire room and prevented any kind of sleep. I wouldn't walk without shoes on any of the floors, including the shared bathroom, all vile and threadbare. The locks on the door didn't make me feel very secure at all. There... More

My husband booked a night for us at this 'hotel' as we wanted somewhere reasonably close to the O2 when seeing Monty Python. It was reasonably cheap for London at £69 B&B for the two of us, however I would not recommend it even at that price! I hadn't looked at any reviews prior to our stay, and if I... More

The first night I stayed there was good. The owner had to drive in for 30 minutes for the light bulb to be changed, but everything was good. The second night two teenaged couples were there that were talking, laughing and playing music quite loudly. At 3:15 I knocked on their door and told them what I thought about them... More

After checking the reviews after booking and about the area it was in, we thought it can't be that bad... little did we know... this is the worst so called hotel you could stay at, it is not close to the upton park tube station, it takes over 30 minutes to walk there, whilst you are constantly being looked at... Having read the reviews within a few hours of arriving I was a little apprehensive on actually turning up. On arrival we received a friendly warm welcome from the bar manager and then shown our room. The room had all the basic essentials ie, tv,kettle, coffee, tea etc. The en-suite was clean and had clean towels. The bedding was clean and... More

This 'Hotel' is actually rooms above a Grotty pub. There is no reception - you wait at the bar. The area is horrific. At night avoid at all costs you will be harassed. Delivery drivers park outside til late at night so you have that coming and going outside your window. The pub plays very loud music til the early... More
