Excellent service and fantastic value for money. Staff accommodating. Pleasant stay! Would thoroughly recommend! Great central location just round the corner from Portobello Road market. Situated in the lovely neighbourhood of Notting Hill.

If you want a nice location, stay in it. If you want a clean place, stay away, It is good for students and people who are looking for a busy place to stay without worrying about cleanliness and tranquility. The bathrooms are disgusting. Old and don't work properly. They are shared and "cleaned" everyday (as well as the rooms), but... More

The place was clean with high security, great location with buses to all of london and tube station just minutes away. Everything you need in walking distance and the portabelo market at the end of the street. Worth the money!

I've been at Bowden Court from June 25th till August 16th because I was working as an intern in a London startup. The rate price/quality is very good (I consider Notting Hill as one of the most exclusive London's areas). Sharing a room and eating at evenings in the canteen are the simplest ways to know other guys from all... More

Very friendly welcome on arrival - the young man at Reception couldn't have been more helpful. Room basic with spotlessly clean bed sheet and duvet. Shared bathrooms were adequate. A great place to stay cheaply in an expensive city like London - full of longer term residents, students etc with good TV room, study room, laundry, gym and basic breakfast... More

It offers a great value for money spent and it isn't far away from the city as well. Metro is at a walking distance and the complimentary food provided was super good as well. Only con is that we have share the bathroom which sometimes wasn't that tidy.

It was my first time in London and everything was so easy for me. The room was clean (single room) and secure with a little thing to access the hall. Friendly staff was very impressed me at the first time. Seperated and shared bathroom was quite clean and they had hot water. However, I can hear the noise of the... More

Good hostel in a good location, less than 5 minutes from the tube and walking distance to several supermarkets/cafes. Rooms were cleaned regularly and shower/toilet facilities were well-maintained as well. No problems with wifi or hot water. Food is provided (iirc it's breakfast and dinner Monday to Saturday and lunch on Sunday), and the standard is pretty good. The reception... More

Amazing place! The best valued hostel in London! Great location right near the nottinghill gate tube station, 24 hour security so we felt super safe, wonderful breakfast and dinner (which were free by the way), only downside is there's like no wifi at all.

Not really expensive if you take double or triple room Nice to meet people if you stay for a medium-long period Room are nice, everything is modern, the staff is strict but nice and the food is not bad, but not good (but it's look like they are aware of that and they are trying to improve food quality, because... Staying in Notting Hill

Neighborhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighborhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
