Booked this hotel for a boys weekend away in London and price was a factor - plus the fact Travelodge do 3 bedded rooms. It was 32 degrees C outside on London and as we waked into reception we commented on how hot the inside of the hotel was. The friendly receptionist advised that Travelodge had bought this hotel and... More

My overall experience was very good with this hotel. London experience it hottest few days during our stay. Thank god our room had air con, but not all of hotel was air con, in the areas that wasn't air con I found it very uncomfortable. If it had been, particularly in the dining area we would have dine there more... More

I am hoping that Tripadvisor will this time allow me to draw to people's attention a problem I had when I booked to stay at that this hotel which is my sole reason for the overall rating of this property which is a compulsory option in their reviews. I had booked and paid, two months in advance, for a room... More

We got given a ground floor room, excellent reception welcome, clean tidy room and bathroom, air con didn't work, but far better than the normal travelodge, maybe it's the roll out of the new decor We left hastily to get home, then an hour later the hotel called to make sure the stay was ok as reception had felt we... Stayed for two nights in a family room. As soon as we entered reception we were greeted by Shantell who made us feel welcome straight away. We were pleasantly surprised by the size of our family room it was huge !! Thought we had made a mistake when we saw how close it was to the railway tracks but found... More

Stayed in this hotel for one night on 3/7/14. The hotel reception was wonderfully clean and the staff were so friendly from the moment we arrived until we left, helping with any questions and offering extras (fans and condiments) We were given a room on the railway side, which I was hesitant about though with the window closed you could... This is the cleanest Travelodge we have stayed in with the most professional staff. Breakfast is good value and we were able to leave our bag for the rest of the day after checking out. We were in a twin room with very comfortable beds. The only problem we had was the external noise as we were at the front... More

The website says "Due to the central location, as you might expect, some external noise may be heard." This is very deceiving, it is actually on a very quiet street, but right next to 4 railway lines and 2 DLR lines! We had a room on the railway side and it will keep you awake until past midnight and again... More
