I was absolutely disgusted by the effrontery of this so called 'hotel', not only did they not have bedside lamps but they also lacked the basics such as the towels begin folded into swan shapes, no rose petals strewn across the bed and no complimentary gold foil wrapped Elizabeth Shaw mint chocolates on the pillows. I phoned room service to... More

I often use travelodge accomodation when I go out for the night in london if i know its going to be a late one, usually more central than here. unusually i forgot the toiletries so stuff had to be purchased.. i was pleasantly surpised on entering my room, basic pump dispensers of both soap and shower gel were provided. Our first time in this particular travelodge , very clean , close to amenities and the staff were very friendly and helpful . Will definitely be staying here again. Very convenient for getting around London . Pub close by and an excellent indian restaurant . Keep the postcode of the hotel with you as the taxi drivers seem to have... More

The staff were friendly and very helpful. The food was excellent and very good value for money - especially the breakfasts. The room was clean and comfy. The only problem is the railway right outside the back of the hotel. It is the first time I have checked into a hotel with "....and here is your room card, would you... More

Arrived after a hard day at 0012 with booked room. Hotel had overbooked and given it away. In all other industries this is fraud. Useless and dishonest. Airlines, hotels, you have got to stop this. And tripadvisor ditch the 200 character minimum. Ship is a 4 letter word and says it all

Our room was not cleaned properly and smelled very badly of sick, when moved, our room then overlooked the railway and was very noisy until 12.30am and then again at 5.15am. Although this is clearly a budget hotel this is totally unacceptable and I would never recommend to anyone.

Stayed here on Saturday night with a friend for a theatre trip. Price is cheaper than more central ones. About a 10 minute walk to Tower Hill tube station. We followed a map on our phone and had no issue finding the hotel.....BUT i had stayed at the other travelodge nearby before so I knew the area a little. Staff... More

I stayed hear for a long weekend and found it to be pretty good. Our room was on the ground floor and had plenty of space. The room was also clean and modern and had everything we needed. The location was good for us with easy access to the DLR and subway. The hotel is tucked away down a slightly... More

We stayed for two nights in this hotel and found it to be welcoming and comfortable. There was a very good selection of breakfast foods and the staff were helpful and friendly. Unfortunately there was one essential missing item for a completely satisfactory stay and that was a bedside light. Both my husband and I like to relax by reading... More

We had trouble finding this Travelodge to start with, as you come off the tube at tower hill you walk towards the direction of the hotel you come across a different Travelodge. You need to walk past this Travelodge and down a dark backroad behind the train tracks to reach the hotel. On arrival the member of staff was very... More
