It's not really situated in the best of places, and also sat right next to the train line. I checked in at 5pm and was told they were very busy and had to have a room facing the railway. I was giving ear plugs at reception, I thought they were joking but if you struggle to sleep you will need... More

The place itself is pretty much like most Travelodges - functional. This particular one is very clean but what really males it stand out is the staff. I stayed last night with four colleagues and Raj and the man who took over from him at 11pm were absolutely fantastic. We had a lot of last minute work to complete before... More

i have been staying at the Travelodge on and off for a few weeks for work. The staff are brilliant, so kind, attentive and friendly. It really makes for an enjoyable stay. The rooms are very nice, basic but very comfortable, especially the beds and pillows. I slept on the train side of the hotel and the trains didn't trouble... More

The staff here are friendly. The aircon was not working in the my room and got the impression this might be the whole hotel. Not an issue in the winter but might be in the summer given the odd numbered rooms are next to the Railway line (last train 01:30) and you would have to open the window. 1st floor... More

Great location close to Tower of London. Room clean and adequately furnished. Bit too close to railway line as trains can be noisy at night. Breakfast OK, but limited choice for vegetarians. Staff very helpful.

The staff at this hotel were very helpful and friendly. It is a little noisy on the side of the hotel that backs onto the train lines it is almost touching distance. If you are a light sleeper maybe it's not for you. This may be a particular problem in the summer if you want to open the windows as... More

A very convenient and clean hotel in an excellent location for work and sightseeing. Good size rooms with good facilities and very nice and friendly staff. Prices are good and even better on the Travelodge website

Despite this hotel being in London this Travelodge has the best and biggest family room we have ever stayed in and we have stayed in a few! With two real single beds and a large double, with plenty of space around and even an entrance area. The whole family were very pleased. Also it lovely addition to have fresh iced... More

Great location for Tower of London, friendly and helpful staff would definitely stay there again. There is some noise from the trains but you got used to this and there was some suggestion of triple glazing being installed.

Stayed overnight for my works Christmas party. Literally just used to stay overnight. Clean rooms, shower cubicle had send better days - quite a lot of scratch damage. 10 min walk to Aldgate tube and Liverpool St station.
