Myself and some friends decided to stay at this hotel for our London trip. The checking in was so easy to do with the fantastic staff here. The manager Wayne and a lovely lady called Molly checked us into the top floor rooms. One of the rooms faced the railway, was a bit nosey, but what do guests expect when next... More

stayed for 2nights on 14/15th Nov 2014 in a family room 415 with my husband & 10yr girl . when we checked in we were explained that all family rooms were on the side of the train tracks & there would be some noise but this didnt affect our sleep at all as we were out at shows & didnt... More

Excellent alternative to Tower Hill Travelodge, only 2 minutes further from all tourist attractions and transport, so great base to go exploring. Overlooks train and tube lines and only double glazed so quite noisy, although quiet once they stop. Ask Reception if you need a heater, none installed in rooms.

Lovely rooms and lovely staff not the best location having to walk down a secluded street rooms would be better if they used security cards to get into the building. When we arrived the receptionist asked if we needed ear plugs should have taken her up on the offer as we had no sleep when the trains started running again... More

I have stayed here maybe 7or 8 times. Everytime my room faces the train tracks at the back. Even though it is triple glazed windows you can still hear them from 5am. They dont bother me but there is always somebody complaining about a horrendous nights sleep. The rooms are fine clean and tidy and the bar and staff a... More

Ok, it's Travelodge. Cheap, dated and disgusting? No, actually. The place has recently benefited from the national refurbishment programme and was everything a man staying on his own could ask for. I thought I'd miss luxuries like a concierge or the small touches like a bar and helping hands. I got it all! The staff, especially Arina were all very... More

We chose this hotel as it was a perfect location for a party at the Tobacco Dock. The website does warn of noise from the surrounding area, but we didn't expect the train track to be literally outside our window. It is VERY loud, especially when the trains honk their horns! However, we were pre-warned and it was actually no... More

I stayed in the Travelodge Hotel, Aldgate East, London during my short trip to London. This hotel, though a budget hotel, is very nice & comfortable place to stay. Rooms are neat & clean. The staff is good & excellent location as well. It is truly value for money!

The staffs are friendly enough to help me solve problem and quite humours which make me relaxed. The bathroom is clean and the shower works easy and use-friendly. I love the experience in Travelodge:)

I was told when I enquired that I'd ended up in the only room in the hotel with a bath. Fortunate, as showering in it requires you to stand with your knees bumping gently against the large integrated taps built inexplicably above the side of the bath. The shower head holder is fixed too close to the ceiling to direct... More
