Having read previous comments before our stay, we had cause for concern. However on arrival we were pleasantly surprised! We arrived at this Travelodge to be met by a receptionist who laughed at us when we said we had a confirmed booking. They could not find another hotel with a room for us that night so we were forced to drive back to Northampton that night. What would have happened if were disabled or foreign visitors, it was disgusting!

This hotel is not in a very nice location but is convenient for the tube and is cheap. If you dont mind spending a night listening to noisy trains and just need a bed then this is ok. Tucked away down an oppressive side street and adjacent to a busy railway you may be lucky to have a room on the opposite side to the track. Would be fine if the rates were lower and you just need a bed for the night
