My partner and I booked this hotel as we wanted to stop somewhere after our flight, so we could have a rest and travel home the next day. We checked the photos and reviews and it looked what would be a nice end to a lovely holiday. However, we were first shocked by the smell of the hotel. It smelt... more

To be honest, it was exactly how I expected it to be, after reading reviews on trip advisor. Easy to find the hotel from the map. Room was small and dated, but as we only used the room to sleep, who cares! Breakfast was great, cereal, toast and eggs, bacon and beans(and a strange orange cordial). No noise at night,... more

I have stayed at Europa Hotel on several occasions over the last couple of years and I can only recommend it. It is fairly central if you prefer a nice and quiet location. It is only about 7 min walk from Tuffnell Park Tube Station from where it doesn't take long to get to the very heart of London. For... more

I stayed at the Europa hotel 8 nights in a single room. The room was very small but had all I needed. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was a good start for a day in London. I also liked the quiet residential area. All in all the Europa hotel is an excellent choice. more

The Europa for one night was adequate, quiet and tolerably clean. The room I had was in the basement and quite tired - as so often with cheap guest houses in London, you can see with a bit of TLC what they might be, But at the bargain basement end of the market it was ok. I have to say... more

I stayed at the Europa Hotel for 4 nights whilst I attended a course at University College London. As there was a tube strike during my stay, the Europa proved to be near enough to walk and was handy from that point of view. The room was basic but satisfactory, and the breakfast offered was good in regard to the... more

I've learned to beware of budget hotels in Britain but the Europa is a welcome exception. It's clean, comfortable and excellent value with friendly, attentive staff. Just seven minutes walk from Tufnell Park tube, which itself is just a short ride away from central London. The area around the tube station seemed a bit downmarket so I wouldn't necessarily recommend... more

Stayed here with my Mum last night. Have stayed before with my husband. Very friendly staff (except the night staff - he was a bit grumpy). Everyone else was lovely. The room was clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was ordinary but plentiful. Yes, it was a bit on the noisy side but its a budget hotel where people... more

We stayed there for 8 nights. Pros: The hotel is about 7 minutes walk form the tube station and bus stops, you need to go via residential area. The area seems quiet and rather safe. It is only 10 minutes from Oxford Street by tube or 30 mins by bus. Zone 2. Within a ten minutes walk there is a... more
