We stayed for a few days, I would say the location was ok being close to the local train/bus station. It was VERY budget accomodation. The rooms are tiny, so luckily we didn't stay for more than 2 days at a time. (We stayed for a total of 5 days seperately) We had a triple room and there was not... More

I booked this hotel with ver little (none) research, a lesson I have learned from this experience. My experience follows: I pre-booked a two night stay at the Bakers Hotel and was looking forward to a relaxing time... I arrived on the first evening to a locked door (presumably an attempt to keep the guests in and paying), undeterred I... More

Good points Great location in London centre Very nice and helpful staff Room basic but clean and nice Bad points No WiFi in rooms. This was a BIG disappointment and Frustration. The only WiFi was in the hotel basement / breakfast room. This was 4 stories down (8 flights of stairs). The hotel is basic but good. WiFi in rooms... More

Not too bad! Went to London for two days with my sister, and after reading the reviews, I booked a room for the night. First things first, when booking on their website, it asks you the time you will be arriving. I put down 10am. So arrived at the hotel, which is extremely close to Victoria station, and was told... We were new to England and very pleased to have booked such a quintessentially English b and b. The location was excellent within walking distance of Victoria station and Buckingham Palace we had a most enjoyable week long stay. The staff were helpful and friendly whilst the standard of accommodation was comfortable and clean if a little small but this... More

This hotel is really sweet, its about 10 min walk to Victoria tube station. The area is nice. I stayed here alone in a single room, its kind of small but it is very clean and tidy and has a hairdryer and sink in the room. You do have to share to toliet which is weird but they are kept... More

Although apartments are extremely tiny and your bed occupies the greatest part of the room, this hostel is peaceful, quiet, staff here will do everything to make your stay as pleasant as possible and keeps your luggage safe if you need to leave it for a while. Best location, great neighborhood. Close to Victoria station and also near the best... More

It was my first time to London and this B&B was lovely. The staff was amazing and so helpful with any questions we had. The room was small but it was clean and tidy. Great location, not very far walk from Victoria station. I never felt unsafe in the area and I even walked to nandos alone one night. I... More

I have stayed here several times and my last visit was at the end of August. It offers incredible value compared to the silly prices charged in London where most of the time you get rubbish and my room was both spacious and very comfortable making for a very enjoyable stay. Mt bed was very clean and comfortable and I... More

Great location and neighborhood. Peaceful and quiet in the rooms even with the windows open at night for ventilation. We arrived in London at 11:00 and they let us store our luggage in the hotel until check-in which allowed us to hop right into sightseeing. Wi-fi was accessible from the room and was included in the room price. We were... More

Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
