The good thing about this hotel is the location, short walk to the Tube and Hyde Park. This hotel will be good one day - once renovations are finished and more investment is made in the facilities and furnishing the rooms. The renovations were ongoing while we were there which were highly disruptive and we were not forewarned about them.... More

People need to realise that London is an expensive place, especially during the summer and holiday season. Also you pay for what you get. Andrews house is a 'budget hotel', anyone booking should remember that. For a 'budget hotel', its is very good. It is clean, in a good location, breakfast is decent and the staff are very friendly and... More

Good: location, breakfast included, en-suite. Bad: reception was old computer desk in entrance hall, stair carpets loose, no bedside cabinets, no drawers/wardrobe, no TV, matress hard, small en-suite with no towel rail, noisy

The location of this hotel is the best thing about it. The hotel is a 5 mins walk from Paddington station and easy to find. Hyde Park is only 2 mins away. When you arrive press the intercom at the front door. There is no reception as this is family-run B&B. We got a twin room on the top floor... More

Just got back and we loved it. I searched for hours for good but cheap b&b and finally found this one. Like other people say, the rooms are very basic but your in London, why would you be wanting to spend time in your room?? It was clean and tidy and the beds were very comfy. In a fantastic location,... More

I cannot really understand all the "bad" recommendations and critics for that place. We booked a room for 3 and it was perfect for the money we paid! The room and bath was clean! The breakfast was fine and Eddy was really friendly to us! The only thing was missing in the room were coat hooks.

Can't beat the price for the location - a stone's throw from both Paddington and Hyde Park. This is a budget hotel, nothing in the room but a bed, chair and a heater, but everything very clean and in good condition. I would stay again and would recommend to anyone looking for a bargain room in a central location.

The location is right next to Hyde park, but make sure your expectations are not too high before you go. The rooms are extremely basic, there is little in the room apart from a bed, and the size of the room is on the small side. The general condition of the room is just about acceptable considering the price. I... More

We were two friends staying for two days. Very friendly staff and nice breakfast! The room was small, with a portable shower in the room, but we had low expectation and the price was very reasonable. There were no furniture in the room, it would have been nice to have a night table and a lamp. But all in all,... More
