I was supposed to be staying at this hotel and arrived with very low expectations and an open mind. Upon turning up, I arrived with my booking reservation, ready to pay off the remainder of the bill. At this point the hotelier proceeded to tell me that the money I had paid online (£30) was an 'agency fee' - despite... More

First impressions ok but ended up in the lower ground in a room that just about took the double bed. It was located in the lower level with very little natural light. Although the shower room was small it had a good shower.

Stayed here for 1 night, it was cheap at 40.00 per night however I wouldn't recommend this. The hotel didn't feel clean the bedding and the carpet felt really dirty. The place also needs a good re decoration the rooms are dated decor and there is a funny smell in the rooms.

This is more like a house that has been turned into a student accommodation. I paid 50 pounds for a double room for one night. The rooms were very basic and need refurbishing. The beds looked very cheap and old. Basically looks like they have cheap and very basic and old furniture and put it in. Carpets also looked tatty... More

Two of our employees stayed in this hotel last night and were disgusted with what this place had to offer as a guest house. The shower and sink was dirty. One of the gentlemen had to fix the shower head. The bed linen was not clean. There is a message on the wall saying 's*****ole'. The carpet was dirty and... More

The hotel is the only one in the area, so you'd think that they would make good use of their monoply. The place is a dump, apppears essentially closed (there was no one staying there at the time I arrived), and the folks are disagreeable. Forget this place. It is not really even a hotel anymore. I went to the... More

This is a "you pay for what you get" hotel. Cheap with no frills whatsoever. It's run by a family who's also got a drycleaning business at the same address. They are very friendly and perhaps becuase of their second business, this hotel is very clean! Rooms are very basic and most of them face the high street, meaning they... More
