I stayed here for 1 night to go to a friends party close by, the reception staff were very helpful, the room was warm, clean and tidy and the breakfast next morning was delicious, There was a parking space at the front of the hotel so it was all very easy

We stayed Saturday night (31st Jan) at the Ridgeway hotel as we were going to a friends 40th birthday party in Chingford. Hotel is in a good location, a short walk from Chingford highstreet, free parking and a very friendly welcome. Staff could not do enough to make our stay good. The hotel is a traditional style but very clean... More

Had a one night Stay here on a recent trip to London. Wasn't expecting the ritzy from reading the other reviews but was pleasantly surprised. Very friendly staff, nice clean accommodation and great breakfast. Room was small but cosy and warm. Would recommend if you need to stay in North East London.

Staff friendly and can't fault them, but hotel is dated and basic and needs to get rid of the smoking smell in the rooms which is very unpleasant. Breakfast was nice and in a good spot for visiting Essex and beyond.

We were staying in the luxury double. The room was spacious, had a king size, comfortable bed and a private terrace. The location was perfect for us as we had a wedding invitation at the Chingford Rugby Club which was 5 minutes cab ride. In the morning we had nice and plenty breakfast, even we get some fresh mushrooms with... More

Breakfast was large and tasty. We stayed in room 6. The bathroom is VERY small, if you are a large person you will never be able to enter it. Hotel is worn and outdated. Walls are paper thin! Very far from major tourist attractions in the City Center. Minimum 45 minute cab drive with no traffic on the weekend. It... More

We stayed in room 6. Bathroom is so small I had to wedge the door open to shave at the sink. The walls are paper thin and stayed awake all night listening other guests shouting slamming doors etc. Cooked breakfast is ok.

Starting with reception on arrival very old school not very welcoming almost like they are doing you a favour, given a room nothing like the ones pictured, bathroom built into room as an add on, very cramped and could hear everything through the paper thin walls from all ajoining rooms. Breakfast limited to cereal and full English cooked no fruit,... More
